Chapter Twenty-Nine

Two Weeks Later
Daniel

Today I was leaving for L.A to record my song with Cameron Dallas. I really wanted Sierra to join, so she can get into singing as well. I went downstairs and ate lunch with my family, "Mom, have you asked Mrs. Grey if Sierra could come with us?" I asked. "Yes, she said it's fine if Sierra goes." my body filled with excitement.

I finished packing, then headed to Sierras house. Kobe opened the door, "Hey, Daniel. Come inside, Sierras upstairs."

I knocked on Sierras bedroom door and she opened it "Hi." She smiled as she hugged me. "Almost done packing?" I asked her. "Yeah almost done." she placed one last item then closed the suitcase.

"I'm so happy you're going to L.A with me!" I smiled. "I also got into Digi." her smile widened.

"You got in?"

"Yes, i just found out this morning." She told me. "That's great!" I said then hugged her. "Thank you! Could you do me a favor and go get my shoes downstairs?" She flashed puppy dog eyes at me. I jokingly rolled my eyes then walked downstairs.  

I saw Sam sitting on the couch. "Hey Daniel." He fist bumped me. "What's up?" i stood next to him.

"You guys are going to LA? That's pretty cool." He said. "Yeah, we are getting ready to leave." I started to walk upstairs.

"She still loves you." Sam blurted, I froze and turned around. "Why do you say that?"

"She told me that's the reason she broke up with me. I thought you should know." He said walking up to his room.

I wasn't sure whether or not to believe him, so i brushed it off. I handed Sierra the shoes, "Thank you." She put them in her bag. "When are we leaving?" She asked.

"Around 6pm to the airport and the plane leaves at 8pm." I told her. "Great. So what do you wanna do in the mean time?" laid on the bed.

"Want to just chill and watch Netflix?" I suggested. "Only if we watch the vampire diaries." She smirked and put on Netflix. "Ugh not again. Can I pick something?" I begged.

"Haha. Yeah I was joking. What do you want to watch?" She tossed the remote. I picked the purge, we laid down on her bed and began watching it. After the movie was over Sierra said goodbye to family, and we took all her bags to my house.

We still had some time to kill, so we swam for an hour or two. After swimming we showered then left to the airport.

My mom, Robert, Sierra and I were the only people going to L.A. As soon as we arrived in Cali we checked into our hotel. My mom and Sierra shared a bed, I was forced to share with Robert. We decided to stay in, and order some room service. After that we fell asleep.

Sierra

The next day we woke up early and went to breakfast with Cameron. "Hey, I'm Cameron. Nice to meet you." He shook my hand. "I'm Sierra, nice to meet you too." I told him. We sat down and talked about their song and Cameron told me that they were gonna let me sing in the studio also. "So how long have you been singing?" He asked me. "Ever since I was little. I never actually took it serious, it was always for fun." I told him. "I see. Like a hobby." He said. "Yes. I never really told anyone about it, till now." I said. "Well I can't wait to hear you sing! I'm also going to digi this year, you're going to love performing!" Cameron said.
After breakfast we headed to the studio. Daniel introduced me to Aton and he offered to be my manager, of course I didn't agree to anything until my parents talk to him. "So let's hear you sing!" He said. I was a little nervous to be singing for music producers and managers but I'll try my best. "Okay, I'm gonna sing 'Fire N Gold' by Bea Miller." I told them. "Baby, we were born with fire & gold in our eyes, eyes with fire & gold in our eyes, eyes Got lightning in a bottle. Hands on the throttle. Even in the dust we shine. With fire and gold in our eyes" I sang. After I finished the song they all clapped. "You, have real talent!" Aton said. "You really think so?" I asked him. "Yes and never doubt it." Daniel said. I smiled, "well thank you, all of you. For this opportunity." I said. "No problem, can't wait to work with you in the future if your parents allow it." Said Aton. "Honestly Sierra you're one of the few amazing singers I've met. You might better than Daniel..." He said laughing. "Aw thanks. It means so much." I said as I laughed. "Now let's get to recording Cam and Daniels song!" Aton said. We were at the studio for a few hours so I did school most of the time. I also went out and brought the boys lunch. They didn't finish the song yet, they still had some improvements to make before they record it. So our next meeting here was in 2 days. "Today was fun!" I told Daniel. "Really?" He asked. "Yes! It's interesting." I told him. "I'm glad. Most people would find watching this boring." He said. "Nope not me!" I said smiling. We headed back to the hotel and ordered room service. "Where's Robert and your mom?" I asked him. "Probably still looking around L.A" he said. "Sam told me something that I can't stop thinking about." He said. "What did he say?" I asked. "He told me you still love me.." Daniel said. I smiled at him, "well yes I do.." I told him. "Sierra there hasn't been a moment I haven't loved you. Even when you dated Sam." He told me. "That's really sweet, no ones ever seen me the way you do." I told him. "Sierra you're amazing & incredible. Any boy would be lucky to date you." Daniel told me then kissed me. I kissed him back, I missed this. I missed him. Really soon our kiss turned into a make our session. "Wait Daniel." I said. "Yeah?" He asked. "I don't want a boyfriend right now.." I told him. "We can be friends with benefits" he said with a smirk. I laughed, "haha okay.. Let's eat tho." I said then began eating my burger. An hour later Robert and Esther returned. "How was the studio?" She asked. "Great! Progress. We will start recording the song on Wednesday!" Daniel said. "That's awesome! How about you Sierra?" She asked. "Well Aton loves my voice and he wants to be my manager." I told her. "Really? That's so cool!" Said Robert. "Yeah, have to talk about it with my parents ." I said. "He's an amazing manager. I'll talk with them also." Said Esther. "Tomorrow do you two want to go to the Santa Monica pier?" Robert asked. "Yeah sounds great." I said. "Tomorrow I'm gonna go shop around town, if you want to come." Said Esther. "That's fun. But I rather hang out with the boys. Sorry, still love you Esther!" I said. "Haha I understand. Now let's go to sleep I'm so tried." She said.

Daniels POV;

The next day we woke up early and headed to the Santa Monica Pier. I decided to tweet, "Hey guys I'm at the Santa Monica pier with Sierra & Robert. Come say hi & take some pictures! Love you guys😘 " now it was time to have some fun. I know Sierra doesn't want a boyfriend right now, but it doesn't mean we can't act like a couple, right? I held her hand and we walked around. "Wow, wait a minute.. Are you two a thing again?" Robert asked. "No." We both said. "So we both like each other. But I don't want a boyfriend, right now." Sierra said. "So your plan is just to act like a couple?" Robert asked. "I guess, but we are just friends, best friends." I said. "You guys are so complicated.." Robert said. We walked around for a while and I met a couple of fans. We rode a few of the rides and got on the Ferris wheel. "I feel like a third wheel." Robert said. "Stop complaining for once. Sorry you and Katie broke up, now that you're single go find your self a Cali girl." I told him. "I'm gonna go back and chill by the pool, see you at the hotel." He said then started walking away. "Wait.. Can I have some money for an uber home?" I asked him. He handed me $20 for an uber and food. Sierra and I decided to take a walk at the beach since the sun was setting. "This past year has been crazy." She said. "Yeah it has.." I said. "What if I never moved to Florida or met you. I wonder what my life would be like.." She said. "Don't even think that. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." I told her. She smiled, "you're he only boy who's ever thought that." She said now crying. "Please don't cry." I said then kissed her. We continued to walk around then took an uber back to the hotel. "Did you two have fun?" Robert asked. "Yeah, it was great." Sierra said. "Can't wait to be your brother in law!" Robert said laughing. "Oh shut up!" I said as I threw a pillow at him. We stayed up watching a movie then went to sleep.

The next day I woke up and took a shower. Sierra was already dressed & so was Robert and my mom. This time all of us were going to the studio. When we arrived there Robert and Sierra did homework while Cameron and I finished recording the song. 3 long hours later it was finally recorded. "Yay! I'm so happy for you!" Sierra said as she hugged me. "Thank you." I replied. "So when does it come out?" She asked. "Not for a few weeks." Said Cameron. "Well when it does I can't wait to buy it!" Said sierra. After the studio we went to Cameron's house for dinner. "I don't really cook so I bought wing stop" he said embarrassed. "It's fine I love me some chicken wings!" Said Sierra. "I like you! You did good Daniel." Cameron said laughing. I smiled, I was lucky to have Sierra. After we ate we went outside to play basketball. "Robert and I vs. you and Sierra" Cameron told me. "Are you prepared to lose?" Sierra asked. "I should be asking you that." Cameron said. "I actually played basketball for my school before" Sierra said with a smirk. "Well then.. Game on" Cameron said. We played a few games and we won 6-5. "Close game, sorry you lost" I said laughing. "Rematch next time you're in L.A?" Cameron asked. "Deal." I said. We head back to the hotel and went to sleep. The next day our flight was at night but we  just stayed at the hotel and did today and tomorrow's school work. We took a plane ride home that night and arrived back in Florida at 3am so we went straight to bed.

Sierra's POV;

We arrived back in Florida super early so I spent the night at Daniels & we didn't go to school. It was Friday so I got up late and ate breakfast. After breakfast I headed home and took a shower, then watched some Netflix. I heard the front door open and to was Kobe & Sam. "You're back, I missed you." Said Kobe as me hugged me, I hugged him back. "Missed you too." I said. "Did you have fun in L.A?" Sam asked. "Yes. Actually Daniels manager wants to be my manager. They let me sing at the studio and it was incredible." I told him. "That's awesome." Sam said then began walking upstairs. "Sam, wait." I said as I ran upstairs. "Why did you tell Daniel..?" I asked him. "Because I know he really likes you too, and I want you to be happy." He told me. "Well thank you, and hopefully next time you can come to L.A with us." I told him. "Yeah me too, and oh two more weeks until I'm ungrounded." He said smiling. I smiled back and returned to my Netflix.
