When Death Refuses One Into It's Embrace

"Sir the new weapon is ready to be tested!" A shadow behind a high ranking military dressed man stated, the man nodded at the man covered in shadow's behind him.

"Good launch the weapon, and get the live feed of the blast." The dressed man spoke with determination, hoping this weapon could change EVERYTHING.

"Launching the weapon now! Impact in T minus 180 seconds starting now!" The shadow cloaked man confirmed, while several screen's showed a missile like weapon flying through the air at jaw dropping speeds.

Near The Test Site:

Ruby Rose had been training with her scythe in a uninhabited island north of her home island of patch, her scythe swinging in wide circles and cutting through the wooden target dummies she had made.

"HAAH" she roared as she cut through the one on her left, before taking a small break to wipe off the accumulated sweat on her brow.

"My speed of my strikes is increasing, that makes this totally worth it!" She let out with a whoop and pumping her fist into the chilly morning air. She was training for her combat studies in Signal academy, she was already excellent in combat overall, but she wanted to reach even higher skill levels.

Ruby chugged down a bottle of water she had brought, and dumped what was left on her sweat covered head, cooling her body off with a loud sigh into the chilly air.

"Yang is going to beacon soon, wonder if she would send me photos....." Ruby said with a sad smile on her face, Beacon was known as a excellent school for training Huntsmen/Huntresses, and Yang was Ruby's older half sister by a few year's.

Ruby got up and started to do some push up's on the soft damp earth, before she heard a loud 'BOOM'  from the brilliant blue sky, and saw a missile flying through the air towards the north of her training area.

Ruby began to run away quickly as she knew that the missile was not a good thing be around, but the missile impacted to the close north in seconds, with a flash of light greater than the sun in intensity.

Ruby watched in horror as a massive orange fireball grew into the sky, the shockwave of air from the enormous blast now hitting her head on, shattering her bodies protective aura in a millisecond, her body being thrown hard onto a nearby tree with a crack.

A/N: I find this fitting since castle Bravo is what caused Godzilla to exist, the lucky dragon number 5 was truly unfortunate that day, but that accident and the bombings in WW2 caused the birth of the iconic monster.

Ruby began to groan as she felt an unknown energy enter her body, exploding her cells with its astronomical amount of energy, the energy then started to repair the exploded cell's far too quickly, making every inch of her body feel unimaginable amounts of pain.

Ruby had no idea that one could feel this level of pain, her beating heat was now being overloaded with pure nuclear energy, turning it into a unbelievable biological nuclear reactor. She screamed from the agony of her heart being reconstructed from the unknown energy, the screams filled the air with its growing animal like roar's.
