Flower Picking (Barmeon)

Barbatos: Care to join me?

Barbatos was in love with Simeon for a very long time. He always thought up things that he could do with Simeon without making it seem suspicious.

Today he thought about flower picking. There is a rare flower in the Devildom that is used in baking as a sweetener and can only be harvested once every couple of years.

So, Barbatos texted Simeon. The following are the texts:-

B: Hello.

B: I'd like to ask you something if you don't mind.

B: Do you have any plans for next weekend?

S: Hello Barbatos! I don't have any plans for the weekend. Why do you ask?

B: I come bearing an invitation.

B: There is a certain rare flower in the Devildom that is used in baking as a sweetener and can only be harvested once every couple of years.

B: The flower is scheduled to bloom next weekend in the evening.

B: Would you care to join me for a spot of flower picking?

B: I'll be eagerly awaiting your reply.

Simeon loved to spend time with Barbatos. He always thought that despite being a demon. Barbatos was a very nice person.

He agreed to go flower picking with him. He then was happy for the next few days till the weekend arrived.

He got ready. He got a basket to keep the flowers in and left the house. Barbatos was waiting for him outside.

"I'm glad that you could join me Simeon" Barbatos said.
"Well, I do like flowers!" Simeon replied.
'And you' he thought.

They went to the flower field. It was still early and the flower would bloom in some time.

So, they sat down under the shade of a tree. Barbatos closed his eyes and enjoyed the cool breeze.

Simeon on the other hand collected flowers that were nearby and made a flower crown.

The crown had teal and turquoise flowers. It matched Barbatos' hair. Simeon smiled.

Simeon then looked at Barbatos. He decided to put the flower crown on his head.

When Barbatos felt that something was put on his head. He opened his eyes and saw Simeon giggling.

"What did you put on my head?" Barbatos asked.
"A flower crown! It matches your hair!" Simeon said.

Barbatos took off the flower crown and looked at it. It indeed matched his hair. After inspecting the crown he put it back on.

Simeon then looked at the sky. The dark sky of the Devildom always fascinated Simeon.

While Simeon was distracted. Barbatos also made a flower crown for him. It had the colors yellow and white in it.

"Simeon" Barbatos said his name gently. Simeon looked at Barbatos and saw the flower crown.

Simeon's eyes lit up after seeing the crown. He let Barbatos put it on his head.

"How do I look?" Simeon asked.
"You look gorgeous" Barbatos replied. Making Simeon blush slightly.

Then a flower beside Barbatos bloomed. It wasn't the flower they needed, but another flower.

The flower was a rose. It had teal and yellow colored petals. Barbatos was shocked to see it bloom.

"That is a beautiful rose. Say, are Devildom roses different from human world roses?" Simeon asked. Barbatos was a bit hesitant, but replied.

"Devildom roses, bloom out of season like this when they are around two people who deeply love each other" Barbatos said. He looked and saw Simeon shocked and blushing furiously.

Barbatos smiled. He plucked the rose and held his hand out to give it to Simeon.

"Simeon. Would you like to be my boyfriend?" Barbatos asked.

Simeon was still blushing but nodded. Barbatos made a brooch out of the rose right then and there.

"A gift for you" Barbatos said to Simeon. Simeon took it and wore it. He then took a deep breath. His face wasn't like a tomato anymore and then he gave Barbatos a peck on the cheek.

That's when the rare flower bloomed. They picked it, went to the Demon Lord's castle and baked a cake to celebrate their relationship.
