Pointy Ears (Mephisto × Satan)

Satan, ever since the day he came into existence has had pointed ears like that of an elf.

He would find them embarrassing and strange as none of his brothers had ears like him. Long and pointed, not hidden by his hair.

He would try his hardest to hide them. Under a beanie, in a hoodie, etc. It made him feel quite insecure.

However, his boyfriend won't let him be sad because he adores those pointy ears which turn red at the tips when embarrassed. The ears which are able to bend down when sad.

Satan was out buying groceries for HOL. It was his turn today and Mephisto was going to come over to spend the night, which made him excited.

'I need to buy carrots for the soup' He thought as he saw the vegetable. He started to pick out the good carrots and put them in his basket when he heard a few demons.

"Look at those ears, so weird"
"Yea, why does he even have ears like that?"
"If I had ears like that I would never leave my house"
"Seriously, nobody could ever like those creepy ears"

Satan pretended to ignore then and continued to buy stuff. He may be the Avatar Of Wrath but he had gotten better at controlling himself because of his boyfriend.

However, even if he ignored the remarks, they still hurt. Why did he have these ears?

'Mephisto also probably hates my ears...' He thought as he walked towards the cash register to pay for the items.

The same demons stood behind him and said more mean remarks. This time, Satan glared at them, effectively scaring them away.

'Wimps. But I need to buy another beanie..' He thought and left the store. He walked to the closest clothing store and bought a teal beanie.

Satan was in his room, waiting for Mephisto to arrive. He was looking at a picture book of cats.

He came across and image of a cat with folded ears. He found the cat extremely cute but remembered his own ears as well.

'I should wear a beanie before Mephisto comes' He thought and got to get the item.

Mephisto had already entered HOL. He invited himself in as always, everyone was used to it by now.

"Where is Satan?" He asked Mammon who was watching TV.
"He's in his room readin' books!" Mammon answered. Mephisto nodded and walked towards the stairs.

Satan had put on a beanie and continued to look at the picture book. He then heard a knock on his door and Mephisto's voice.

Satan perked up and went to open the door. Mephisto smiled at him, Satan returned the smile and invited him in.

"What were you reading, darling?" Mephisto asked as gave Satan a peck on the lips.
"I was just looking at a picture book of cats" Satan replied.

They both sat down on the bed and Satan showed the book to Mephisto. After a while, Mephisto decided to ask.

"Are you not hot in that beanie?" He started. Satan stiffened a little but schooled his expression.

"Ah, no I just felt like wearing it!" He replied. Mephisto to nodded but he was still suspicious.

"Is it new?" Mephisto asked, the condition it was in was far too good to be old.
"No.. I've had it for a long time but wore it today" Satan lied. Mephisto saw the ears under the beanie twitch.

"You're lying" Mephisto said. Satan intensely stared at the book. Mephisto gently held his boyfriend's face and turned it towards him.

"What's wrong?" He asked in an extremely gentle voice as worry was evident in his eyes. Satan just stared at his eyes for a moment and then looked down.

"Why are my ears not normal?" Satan mumbled in a sad tone. Mephisto carefully took off the beanie, the former didn't resist.

"They are normal, who says they need to by like other's ears to be normal?" The purplette asked as he caressed the ears with his thumb.

"But they are so strange and everyone hates them..." Satan replied. Mephisto made Satan look up.

"Not everyone hates them. I love them, your brothers love them, the residents of Purgatory Hall love them, Diavolo and Barbatos also love them" He said as he joined their foreheads.

Satan closed his eyes but his frown still remained. Mephisto continued to caress the ears.

Satan felt Mephisto move his head and then he felt a warm feeling on his ear. Satan opened his eyes and saw that Mephisto had kissed it.

Satan became embarrassed and the tips turned red. Mephisto smiled lovingly at the blonde demon.

"Your ears are adorable and the people you care about love them. Let strangers say whatever, they don't know how much cuter your ears make you!" Mephisto announced.

Satan's eyes twinkled due to how much love he was feeling. He smiled and kissed the purplette.
