There was an old tale. Long ago, people would go to the forest to collect herbs, seeds, flowers, etc. But one day, they encountered monsters that were capable of erasing those mortals in an instant.
A temporary fence was built to keep the children away till they would build something more sturdy and protective.
However, the monsters were never seen after the fence was built not even someone was to venture a little into the forest.
So, the inhabitants decided to shoot arrows lit on fire at the end of every month to keep away the monsters (to give themselves assurance)
That's how it remained for centuries. Storied were written, myths came to be known, legends were told.
All of them spoke horribly about the beings of the forest. But there was one story. Hidden away and kept from the people...

"You all are so slow! Hurry up already!" The girl with pink-purple hair yelled.
"No fair! You ran first and left us behind!" A boy with red hair yelled.
"Wait for me!" A teal haired child yelled as they pushed another kid with white hair.
A purple haired boy laughed at the white haired boy's misery. A brown haired boy with a kid who had an expressionless face was following them on a bicycle.
Another kid was right behind the girl. They were having fun like all the others (maybe not the kid who was pushed).
"Thirteen wait!" The kid yelled and caught the girl before she crashed into the fence.
"Oh! Thanks MC! I would have broken the fence otherwise!" The girl smiled at the kid. A smile was recieved in return.
All the others has caught up now, the white haired boy was covered in dirt as he pouted.
"Barb.. I know you don't like Solomon but you shouldn't push him" the brown haired boy said.
"But he always troubles you by taking your stuff without asking!" The teal haired replied.
"It's called borrowing and he does return it all!" The brunette replied.
"What about the time he broke your last pencil and you were scolded by the teacher for not having a pencil?!" Barb replied.
The brunette sighed and held the teal's hand.
"He apologized the same day! Let it go Barb" the bot said.
"Yea! Let it go already, ha ha!" The redhead said with a chuckle.
The others nodded, the white haired boy was still trying to clean his clothes.
