The Tournament

Set the Scene: Johnny's competing in the annual Karate Tournament, a big event for all the valley. Soon afterwards, the both of you go home to unwind...maybe in more ways than one.

*warning* Some swear/mature words. (Not original tournament, so no Dan) Smutty/fluff for sure.

Applause was heard from all sides of the arena, building up the enthusiasm for the final two competitors of the tournament. Johnny knew he would make it this far, he's been waiting a whole year for this competition. All the training he has been through, the long nights of practice at home in his garage, the constant calloused and bruised hands from impact striking was well worth it. Kreese has been with him through the whole process, pushing him harder and harder to be the best fighter he could be. Karate was in his nature, it was almost like the sport was made for him. Ever since a young age, this has been the only outlet for Johnny to get his anger and frustration out. The lessons he has learned and the friends he has made have shaped him into the man he is today.

The announcer called out Johnny's and his components name, distracting him from his reminiscing, as Kreese gave him one last final word of advice.

"No mercy."

Along with his sensei's words and the other two phrases The Cobra Kai Dojo lived by swarming around in his head, Johnny took to the mat to do what he does best.

Being at The All Valley again, watching your boyfriend do what he does best, was exhilarating to say the least.

Ever since you first started dating Johnny, you knew what karate meant to him and this tournament. You were so proud of him for sticking to what he loved and being the best he could be at it. His devotion and admiration towards the sport was not only inspiring but hot as well. Every time you stayed over late at his house, you would sit and watch him practice on his punching bag in nothing but shorts. Occasionally, he wouldn't even take the time to sip out of his water bottle, he would just squirt it in his mouth. Watching his physique change over time as he got stronger and toner was mouthwatering.

Although you've expressed to Johnny that you loved him no matter the outcome, he wouldn't budge on the fact that he had to win this for himself. But it wasn't so much about claiming a large trophy, it was much more personal than that.

Focusing your attention back to the match, you found Johnny getting into his fighting stance, looking as confident as ever. Once the referee started them off, the movement between the two of them was rapid and back and forth. When one of them striked or kicked, the other naturally responded. It was like a beautifully choreographed dance.

The only reason you enjoyed watching karate was because of Johnny and how graceful yet aggressive he was at it. Although he prefers a more offensive approach, the balance he creates between strong yet calculated moves is captivating.

Johnny and his opponent have been going back and forth for a while now, one of them about to win the first point. He should have had this round under lock, but the fight within the other guy was unpredictable. Of course, Johnny knew he was best at his dojo but there had to be other guys out there as good as him.

Pushing the negative thought to the back of his head, he circled his opponent and extended his leg into a side kick. Unfortunately, he overstepped and missed by an inch, leaving his opponent to jab into his weak spot. The announcer gave the opposing side a point, reeling Johnny back into reality. He dared to risk a quick glance towards his sensei, who had a disappointing expression.

You glanced over at Kreese and the rest of the Cobras, who looked just as shocked as you. Johnny usually gets the first point, let alone never get hit. Shifting your focus back to the mat, you noticed Johnny shake it off, getting himself back on track by doing a few quick jumps. Soon enough, the announcer started them off, this time Johnny wasted no time attacking his opponent. He blocked everything that came his way, finally dodging enough to earn his first point in seconds.
