Love in Darkness

chapter 5

      Future mother in law comes to town 

    Morgana’s pov: 

 I was interrupted brushing my hair by Gwen rushing in telling me my future mother in law is here. I'm nervous to see her again, especially now that I'm with her son. I wonder what has brought her here, maybe to just visit. I hope she doesn’t try to get him to leave Camelot. I would hate it if she did. 

 

I probably should ask merlin what is going on. 

 I walk out into the hall when I see Hunith walking up to me. 

 “ Hello Hunith, what brings you to this side of the castle?” I asked surprised. 

“ Hello ma lady, I was coming to talk with you about my son if that's ok.”  she says with concern in her voice. 

I guided her into my room where Gwen was cleaning and I told her that me and Hunith needed to talk alone so she left. And hunith turns to me and begins to talk.

 “ I don't like you being with my son. So it's best you leave him.” 

 “ How'd you know about us to begin with? We have kept it secret from everyone. Was it Guais? Merlin himself?” I say his name dreamyly.

 “ one i don't like the way you said my son's name. Two, it was Guais. He figured it out himself and I asked my son and he confirmed it to me. So I will say it again, leave my son alone.” 

 I grow angrier with each word she says, “ no i will not i love him so much and you can't stop us from being together. We will be together no matter what, and neither you nor anyone else is going to stop us.” 

 She grows angry. “ I figured, I might just tell the king of his wards' affections for a servant.” and leaves the room. 

I watch her walk out not even trying to stop her and feel the sense of dread creep over me. This will not end well. 

 Merlin’s pov: 

  My mother is angry about us. she found out through guias about me and the lady Morgana. I go to find my mother and try and calm her but have no idea where to look. I hope she is not going to warn her away from me, cause that would not be a good thing. Who knows how morgana will take it. Hope my mother isn't doing anything too drastic.  

 I see Mogana later on while looking for my mother and she looks scared. Oh no what happened is all i could think. 

“ Morgana my dear, what's wrong? “ I am concerned. 

“ i saw your mother early and she's going to tell the king about us.” she says about to cry. 

 She then walks up to hug me right in the middle of the hall. I need to find my mother and stop her but first i must calm my love down. She's visibly shaking. 

I pull her into a hug. And whisper that i'll fix this. That all will be alright in the end. 

 

 Throne room 30 minutes later: 

Merlin walks in and finds his mother waiting for the king and walks up to her. He’s visibly angry and rearing for a fight. He wont let anything git in the way of him and his love for the lady Morgana.
