"It's like a shield. You creating this world.", Kris looked at Susie, who ate the food,"You created this huge world, this world full of food, creatures and things that don't even exist in reality. How did you create this all?", Kris shrugged, but deep down they knew how it was created.

A world were you could both disappear from reality of your broken home, to escape school and yourself.

But then he left you like they did.
Him being the town golden child and becoming his shadow as he went to college.

So you locked away the world you created, not wanting to share it and locked away the child within you and wants to play.

Then you met Susie.
You hesitated to return, but after you shared your world and Susie wished to return you could feel it helped her more than you thought it would.

Kris looked up at Susie, remembering they were walking to their house as Susie shuffled her feet,"Thanks for today. . . And uh, think we could visit the world more often?", Kris thought for a moment, smiling and nodding, Susie smiled,"Thanks, Punk. I'll see ya around.", so Susie waved and walked home and let Kris head inside.

Inside, even though Tori was in the living room watching TV Kris still felt alone.
They went to bed and hid under the blankets, looking at the empty bed across the room and shivered.

He'd be coming home this week. . .
What would they say?

He left them alone, why would Kris want to talk to him after he left him for College and all people can think of when they met Kris was how much of a Golden Child he saw.
