I wrote about this man before, Brandon...
I gave him another chance and not even a month late this is the behavior I received after HE told me he wanted to be cool.
He stated that he wanted to focus on himself and get "back right with the most high."
With that being said, I fell back within a few days and went back to what I been doing. Minding my business and putting my phone on do not disturb at 10pm.
On the 19th I spent the day with my family. He called a few times when I was driving. My DND kicks automatically when driving. I called him back though and let him know I'll call when I was free. I did, later that night, around 10-10:30p, before I showered and got settled. He sent me to voicemail, so I said fuck it and went about my business.
He called a little after midnight while I'm driving to sleep. I saw I had maybe 5 missed called and a voicemail showcasing his agitation. He asked why he couldn't get through and to just call him back.
I was nice and called him back.
He immediately began to question me about it and asked why he hadn't heard from me all day yesterday either. I told him, look I called you, you didn't answer, so I left it alone and went about my business.
Then he asked about the current day. I told him I was with my family early and repeated it again. He challenged me by saying, "well you call me any other time you're with your family." I said well, you said I was clingy and called too much. So now I'm not. 🤷🏾♀️
He tried to explain that it wasn't that. It was only that I wouldn't give him enough time to call back. I said well, regardless, that was then, this is now. I'm not going to keep calling you at all.
He huffed or whatever and the call ended.
I still hadn't taken my phone of DND yet. I was just gonna say fuck it and go to sleep. I had to drive to St. Louis tomorrow for my little cousins college graduation... the bullshit with him could wait.
This man called me 10 times from two different numbers then left the first voicemail.
He then called another 12 times before he left the second voicemail.
After the second he called another 8 times.
Then after about an hour called another 2.
Hearing what I heard, I left him where he's at... ain't no way, I'm going to deal with a "man" that thinks it's okay to speak me, let alone any woman in that manner.
I should have stopped early on when he revealed his views and thoughts on women. Saying how the world isn't the way God intended. Saying how women don't know their place. How they're supposed to fall in line. How they're meant to be seen not heard. How they want to compete with men. How they're taking mens jobs. How women are supposed to be at the bottom of the totem pole. How the world started getting out of order when they gave women the right to vote.
I should have blocked his ass right then and there.
Anyway, he called me three times the following night. He didn't call at all the next day. Then last night he called again, leaving that third voicemail.
He can keep that weak ass apology.
Cause he meant everything he said on the two previous voicemails. He said all those hurtful things to me, when they were meant for himself.
I'm not convinced that this man is hetero. Ain't no way he is. His hatred for women runs so deep, it's sickening. I can only imagine what his relationship is like with his mother. These men are sick out here.
