Last night I attended this....

Now, some of y'all already know that I love me some Daniel Caesar. I think the cat is incredibly talented for his age. So I was beyond excited to see him and the show was only $20.

Anyway, the schedule:
Doors 8pm
Snoh Aalegra 9:15-9:45
Daniel Caesar: 10:30-11:45

Snoh was great. I really loved her set. As I'm watching, I notice No I.D. sitting a few feet away from me on my right. I nearly fainted. No I.D. is a living legend to me. Shit was dope. When her set was over he left right after.

Then I notice someone walk in five minutes later. Muhfuckin Babyface! Whip Appeal, Sunshine, When Can I See You...THAT Babyface.

Anyway, shortly after, Kourtney Kardashian walks in with her new boo. 🙄

Anyway, its 10:30 hits, no Daniel. 10:45 hits and I peep Babyface picking up his phone. Most likely checking the time. Not even a minute later he got up and left with a guy he was with. Mind you he'd been sitting for almost an hour like the rest of us.

Anyway, ten minutes later G-Eazy walks in with his entourage. Then low and behold at 11pm he finally comes outs.

He sang one song and finally greeted everyone. It was a great opening to be honest. Then he goes to pick up his guitar. Muhfucka is dead...

They finally get it together and he does maybe 2 songs and brings out a friend to perform a song. Her name is Jessie Reyez. She was good, but I wasn't understanding why she just didn't perform with him. Like one of his duets... Instead she played her song Figures on her acoustic guitar.

Anyway, he comes back and does maybe another 2-3 songs and then here's another friend. I can't recall his name but yeah, he sang a tune & I was just like...

Then out came Daniel again.
I wanna say he performed for another 15 minutes or so. Syd came out and did her song with him at some point. Then he did another song and said thank you so much for coming out...goodnight.

I was in shock.
Like...what?

Literally this was at 11:59pm. I know because I had texted my homie as soon as he said it.

Then after he walked off stage the crowd cheered and all that. So of course he came back a few minutes later & performed "Get You."
And that was it.
Time? 12:10am.

Bitch, when I tell you I've never, in my life, been so devastated and I'm not the only one.

As I was walking down the stairs from the balcony level this guy was walking beside me and he goes "Well that was underwhelming..."

I'm trying to be nice here because it's his first tour, but damn! And for the first time I wish I hadn't bought merch before the show.
