After Principal Bump threatened the coven scouts, Hunter and the rest of the school began to create their own army against Belos. Sure, it was a few teachers and a bunch of teenagers, but damn were they all powerful.
Those who were in multiple magic tracks helped other students expand on their knowledge of specific magic, while the other students helped those in multiple tracks perfect their spellbinding skills. They would swap tricks and techniques with one another in order to build the already growing magic within their bodies. And though no one knew, Hunter would scan the perimeters of the school during these training sessions. He couldn't really learn any of the magic, so he had to make himself useful somehow.
Besides, it wasn't like anyone noticed he was gone during these times. They all probably assumed he was freaking out over 'hearing familiar, yet creepily and child-like laughter and pleas of help'. Okay, that only happened a few times, but still! Plus, what could he say, it's. . . hard to break a habit like that.
The only ones who cared enough to search for him were Flapjack, who normally was always by his side anyhow, Principal Bump, who Willow said had a fondness for children due to him always being too busy to start a family and raise his own, and the Emerald Entrails.
The flyer derby team was nice to him, nonetheless. Viney and Skara were nice to him, though they were normally busy with trying to combine magic from Viney's dual-tracks, beast keeping and healing, and Skara's track, bard. Something about trying to create a spell that would cause bard music to command creatures and heal them and such. But Willow and Gus always had made time for him, even when he didn't want to be found.
"I thought you two were with the others!" Hunter shouted to them, back against the wall as he heavily breathed.
"Come on, Hunter," Gus threw his arms in the air. "No one's going to get into the school. Besides, one trip of the construction track's wiring, and the one who gets in will be hanging upside down!"
SNAP!
The three teens flinched at the loud noise. Willow smacked the younger boy on the head for jinxing it, and off the three ran to the area the sound came from.

Upon arriving at a classroom and opening its door, Hunter sucked in a breath of who he saw. Medium brown skin laced the witch's body with magic-binding ropes beginning to cut off blood circulation. Short, mint green hung a bit down to the ground as two streaks of ivory white by the bottom half of the witch's hair. The witch's green eyes were squinting, and that's when Hunter saw that their glasses had fallen onto the floor.
"U-um. . . c-can someone please help me?" They gave a sheepish and flustered smile. "I- uh. . . I'm a little stuck if you can't tell."
Willow and Gus stood with shock at the entrance as Hunter quickly grabbed the glasses with shaking hands and placed them on the witch's face once more. He then felt Flapjack transform into a staff and teleported him back by Willow and Gus.
"Raine Whispers. . ." Hunter trailed off, staring at the head of the bard coven with eyes full of confusion and fear.
It took a minute for the bard witch to readjust their vision, but once doing so, it looked as if they held in a gasp. "H-Hunter?! Oh Titan, we finally found you."
Hunter froze at the comment. Even the coven leaders were searching for him, and even after everything he'd tried to hide himself, he failed. Again. Just like before, he thought.
Short and brisk gasps began to escape through his lips that once told the lies of Belos to the Boiling Isles. Uneasiness grew in the pit of his stomach. The world around him was still, as if time stopped in order to make him suffer longer than what it's already done.
