On your very first day of Medical School they have you recite the Hippocratic Oath, you devote yourself to the practice of medicine, promising to heal those you can with no judgment and best interest always at heart. It makes sure that Doctors always put patients first, their mental and physical needs above their own selfish ones.

It was November 2nd 2003 when Averee-Lilith Burr took her oath, and even when her name changed she continued to serve her community in a way only Doctors can. She donated her time at free clinics, offered free treatments to the uninsured, since taking the oath Averie put her heart into saving others - and Hazel would be no exception.

Nathan had been the one to call Averie, telling her that Hazel was finally being released from the psychiatric ward and would be returning to Virginia's Stage One Prison. Aaron was more then understanding, giving her a soft smile when she'd asked, "I think you should go, it'll help her, maybe see if she'd want it to be a regular thing, you both went through a terrible trauma together" He spoke, offering his wife a mug of decaf coffee.

"I'm scared I'm going to make it worse for her, instead of moving on she'll spiral into it again" Averie replied, looking up at him with worried eyes as he leant against the kitchen counter.

"It's worth a shot, sweetheart, your the only one that can truly understand what she went through with Burr, maybe talking over it together will help put it to rest for Hazel" And you.

Averie's brows furrowed for another minute or two, taking sips at her drink as she thought about the pro's and con's of the scenario, "Ok, I think I'm gonna go" She nodded her head, "At least then I can say I tried right? Maybe next time I can bring Wyatt, if it goes well" She pondered aloud, a small smile on her lips at the thought of bringing Hazel some comfort.

"I wish I could come with you, if you can hold off for a few days I could...?" Aaron trailed off, moving in the kitchen to mix up Amelia's milk formula.

"I'm fine, probably best if it's just me at first anyway, I don't want to overwhelm her too much. Will you be alright dropping Mila off at Rossi daycare?" Averie joked with a smile, looking at her giggling daughter in her high chair.

"Me and my little girl will be perfectly fine without you, sweetheart" He smiled, pressing a kiss to Amelia as he lifted her into his arms, "Won't we, sweet girl?" Aaron watched in amazement as she giggled.

Averie laughed shaking her head at her family, "I love you, Hotchner" She chuckled, leaning up to press a soft kiss against his lips, giggling when Amelia reached out to pull on her mom's hair, "And I love you too, my sweet little Mila"

The youngest Hotchner seemed to be ecstatic that morning, pulling at her parents clothes and her mothers hair, "Dada!" She chorused, making her father smile proudly and Averie roll her eyes.

"Momma, Momma, come on sweet girl, I know you love Daddy more then me but I did create you from scratch" Averie pressed multiple kisses to her daughters cheeks, "Mom-ma, mom-ma" She sounded it out.

"I'd accept your loss, sweetheart, now go before the freeway backs up with traffic" Aaron smiled at his wife, his lips resting on her forehead for a moment, "I love you"

Averie smiled as she moved away from the two, sliding on her shoes and grabbing her jacket, "I love you, too" She promised, grabbing her carekeys, "I'll see you both soon"

It annoyed Averie how Aaron was always right, as soon as she typed in the Prisons address the estimated time had tripled then when she last checked - and they was nothing Averie hated more then the gridlocked freeway. The backroads were her choice, it cut an extra hour of the travel time - sure they were twisty turny, usually empty but Averie enjoyed it, having the windows down and the wind flowing through her ginger locks.
