Pov. Jake Sim*
I was honestly surprised when Sunghoon showed up at my doorstep a few hours ago, firstly because I didn't know he knew where I lived, secondly because I didn't think he would go so far into my private life to talk to me about the party and thirdly because he cared about our friendship, he had even bought my favorite snacks.
He insisted on talking to me about the party night, but at first, I refused and wanted to slam the door in his face.
Well, I was extremely hurt by his action. How am I supposed to feel when I kissed my crush (by the way, it was a damn good kiss) and then feel like I had the best night of my life? Afterward, however, my crush kissed someone else after not even five minutes, can't remember anything in the end, and blames it on the alcohol. Pleasant and very sympathetic if you ask me...
But Sunghoon was very persistent and when I tried to close the front door, he stuck his foot in the crack and lifted a bag from 7-Eleven with my favorite ice cream and drink. At this gesture, I could no longer ignore him and let him into the house.
We then sat down on the sofa, ate the snacks he had bought, and talked.(...)
"Call me Park Sunghoon. The king of video games! No one masters the controller like me!" laughed Sunghoon, sitting on the sofa and joyfully raising his hands in the air.
I was still busy with my Mario Kart race, while Sunghoon already crossed the finish line. My gaze was fixed on the screen of the television. When I finally crossed the finish line in eighth place, I sighed in annoyance. "Huh? What's the matter? Don't hang your head, you're first from the back, that's a win too!" he inquired.
The virtual opponents appeared on the screen, Sunghoon game character of course at the front, who raised his arms honorably. "Would you say the same thing about figure skating? That it's okay to be first from the back?", I huffed and turned my head towards him. His hair was hanging over his eyes.Sunghoon looked cute.
"No of course not, but I thought I could lift your mood with my banal words... wait, I'll show you some tricks that can help you further!" he said, pressing start quickly, wiping his hair off his face and concentrating on the game.
He showed me some combis and explained how I should handle the curves or when I should use which maneuver.
"See? It's easy!" he laughed. "I usually play Mario Kart against Hee and I always win. But to meet a worthy opponent like you, who has more combos than me...? I thought you were just training all day and yet you are superior to me in this. I like that!" I admitted, flabbergasted. A soft smile appeared on his lips and again my breath caught at the beautiful sight of his dimples.
"I accept the compliment gratefully!" he grinned and stretched extensively. There was a loud crack and he groaned painfully. "Speaking of training, you're not entirely wrong. I'm all rusty and kind of stiff from the intense training, I should stretch more," Sunghoon admitted, rubbing his neck achingly.
"Shall I give you a massage? I'm pretty good at it, my hockey team raves about my fantastic hands!", I suggested and suddenly became a bit nervous, trying not to show it outwardly.
"Massage?" he repeated my question, looking up briefly as he mused. Then he grabbed his shoulders, followed by the back of his neck.Shit... I have to talk my way out of this, why did I even suggest it?!
I paused in alarm before opening my mouth hastily and adding anxiously, "Unless you're uncomfortable with the physical contact. That's perfectly OK, of course!" I tried to talk my way out of it, but Sunghoon waved me off. "A massage wouldn't be bad. Shall I sit on the floor?" he asked and rose.
I did not expect this answer. To be honest, I didn't expect anything.
"Uh yes, sit down on the floor. Wait, here." I handed him a cushion. He took it appreciatively and sat down with it.
"How much is this fun?" he asked, one eyebrow raised. "Cost? You get a friendship rate. So, it's free!", I grinned and put my hands on his shoulders. "Do you have any working cream or oil too?", Sunghoon pecked. "I think we still have Tiger Balm. Is that okay?" I asked to which Sunghoon nodded affirmatively. A moment later I rose and walked to the bathroom, found the tin on a shelf, and rushed back.
Hesitantly, I sat down on the sofa and looked down at Hoon.
