Overtired, I walked towards the university, my head still in the dream world.

Or rather, my thoughts were with Jake.... It's almost the same thing.

Suddenly, a group of girls pulled me out of my thoughts. They were loudly annoyed about something and were tugging at their skirts.
"He even marks clear earrings! Madness!"
My eyes drifted to the entrance of the university. At the gate stood the head of the discipline, who was scrutinizing each student. I checked my uniform and realized that today of all days I was not wearing my tie. I was also wearing Jake's leopard beanie, which I had forgotten to give back to him last night. Actually, I was going to give it back to him later in the day, but now I had to take it off already.

And in case you're wondering, yes, I thought he would definitely be happy to see me in his beanie. It's kind of cheesy, I should stop doing that...

"Hey! You there! Where are you going? All four of you are late, don't you have early lectures? And you, stop right there! Where's your loop, is it that hard? Stand in the group next to the tree. As soon as I've counted all the students, you can do your stool rounds!" he put some students in their place, who then groaned angrily.

Wow, the day is already off to a good start! Why was that dude in such a bad mood today?

"The head of the disciplinary department is in a very grumpy today. He said he would wait until every single student is registered. I can't afford to get an entry on my report card," I heard one student say to his friend.

I now had three options:
1. do squat rounds at the sports field
2. skip the seminars (feat. with internet café nearby)
3. drop out of the studies (as long as one can accept being kicked out of the house. Although... the teacher wouldn't even notice if I wasn't present. After all, I'm hardly present anyway because of the intensive figure skating training).

My gaze wandered to the wall that surrounded the university. Suddenly I got an idea.

I could climb up there and sneak past the supervisor.

Hastily I went to the wall and estimated the height. Thoughtfully, I reached up and jumped. But the wall was too high, even with a running start I couldn't reach the edge. Annoyed, I exhaled and looked around. "Morning Hoon, what exactly are you doing?" someone who quickly identified himself as Jake asked me.

My rescue!

"Good morning, Jake! I'll make it short: The head of discipline is here, and I forgot my tie. Will you help me climb over the wall?", I explained excitedly. "Shit, wait!" Jake checked his uniform. He too seemed to be having a lucky day and had forgotten his tie.
"Robber ladder?", I suggested, to which he nodded in agreement. As if I did this every day, I clasped my hands together and squatted slightly. Jake stepped into my hands with one foot and put a hand on my shoulder while he reached for the edge of the wall with his other arm. I lifted him up and he managed to climb up. Afterwards he looked down at me and grinned broadly. "Thank you, Hoonie! Oh, wait, is that Hee's beanie?" he asked, startled, pointing to the beanie peeking out of my jacket pocket.

Does this belong to Heeseung? Heeseung's leopard beanie?!

"Oh shit, throw the cap up quick. If he sees you with it, we're screwed!"
As if I hadn't had enough bad luck already, I saw Hee and Namra coming from a distance. "I thought you and Hee always go to uni together?!"
"Long story," Jake said quickly, pointing at the beanie with a wagging motion. I threw it up as fast as I could. Jake stretched to catch the beanie but found no grip on the thin wall and fell backwards onto the university grounds.
