"Makoto, you look like you didn't sleep much." I stated as I greeted the tall green eyed teen at the train station. He turned his sleepy face to me. It broke out into a huge grin.

"Nah, I slept OK. But that storm..." The smile on his face was like a beacon. I smirked.

"Yeah. You stayed up just to watch it?" I asked. He laughed without answering me. Of course he did. He loved storms. They used to scare me, especially when I was home alone. Makoto would come over. He made me sit on the back porch and watch them. Sometimes we would run around my back yard as we got pelted with rain. He would call it storm swimming. I got to like storms.

"Yeah. So, um how was that test you had to study for?" he asked. Oh right the excuse I told Makoto so I could spend time with Sosuke. Why he didn't want anyone to know we were lovers, I wasn't sure.

It hadn't been a lie. I did have to study for a test. It just wasn't as big a deal as I made it sound when I blew Makoto off. I shrugged now as the trains breaks squealed while it pulled to a stop. The doors sprang open to vomit out the people inside. Once clear we rushed forward to get on. Of course there were no seats. Makoto grabbed a hand pulley. I was shoved hard into his chest as I reached for the one beside his. Makoto steadied me as he glared over my shoulder.

"Sorry but I don't keep my wallet there." I told the large teen. His beady eyes glared into me. He backed up. Pickpockets, weren't they the lowest form of thugs and thieves? I wondered. I turned away from him, fighting the urge to check on my wallet. That would only tell them where it was.

"The test was easier than I thought. I think I studies too much." I told Makoto. He barked out a laugh.

"That's just like you." We didn't talk much as the train rushed us across town. It wasn't far to our friends family restaurant. We walked in together. I saw Sosuke glance up, he was sitting next to Rin. Asahi and Ikuya were laughing over Asahi's nephew who appeared to prefer Ikuya. Hiyiori was looking on like he wanted to interfere. I frowned at that. He was too over protective of Ikuya.

Ikuya's older brother sat on the other side of Rin. Natsuya had been a swim coach for us, but that was before we met Rin. However the two had met in Australia, small world. His best friend, and our other coach at that time, Nao sat beside him laughing at the baby.

"HARUKA!" Rin yelled seeing us. I groaned. Why was he so loud.

"It's just Haru." I muttered. I was sure only Makoto heard. The others laughed. Ikuya rushed up to us. The baby reaching for Makoto. Ikuya let go of him.

"Haru, guess what!?" Ikuya cried in my ear as he hugged me.

"You want a baby?" I said. He drew back looking at me the smile dimming only slightly.

"Well, eventually, but I have to bet you on the world stage first." He chuckled. "No, I just swam the free 400 in 4:03 minutes!" He crowed.

"Not in an official race, doesn't count." I muttered. He smacked me on the back.

"Yeah it does, your just jealous!" He giggled.

"Haru finished in under four this morning." A voice spoke from behind us. I turned. There stood a girl I sort of recognized. I wasn't sure from where. She beamed up at me.

"I, uh, well I followed you from practice." She giggled.

"Oh." I said. Ikuya was struggling to stifle his laughter. Makoto snorted. I looked back at them. Rin sauntered over.

"Come on, lover boy. Let's go eat." He chuckled dragging me away.

"Was the mackerel catch good this morning?" I asked Asahi's sister. She smiled at me.
