Haru held the train door for the others. They jumped on, one at a time. He had to catch Nagisa and help him in after Rei. The train began to move. Makoto and Rei caught Haru, dragging him on board. Sosuke frowned. He touched his injured shoulder. Had he tried to help, he would have just gotten everyone hurt. Haru moved to stand before him.
"It's OK, I didn't really need their help." He whispered. Sosuke placed his hand on Haru's back.
"Maybe not, but you're mine and I should be able to do things like that for you." He muttered.
"You will, once your healed." Haru gave him a tiny smirk. He then leaned his shoulder against Sosuke's chest. The teal eyed teen smirked.
The train came to a stop at their station. Makoto led the way off. Gou had to run as a family nearly cut her off from the others. Seijuro caught her hand. They hurried along the sidewalk as more people crowded around them. There was a small line to get into the arena.
As they drew up to the doors, Sosuke saw the ticket booth. He was about to steer Haru that way, but the dark haired teen simply handed over two tickets. Sosuke frowned. He waited until they were deeper into the building.
"When did you get the tickets?" he demanded.
"When you told me you were going to come." Haru stated. "Makoto and I have season tickets. I wanted to make sure you could sit with us." Haru added as Sosuke looked more disturbed.
"Oh." Was all he muttered. He took Haru's hand. They made their way around the curve of the rink. A snack stand was set up. Makoto called everyone together.
"Haru, you take them to the seats. Rei, Rin and I will get drinks." He called.
"I can help." Sosuke let go of Haru. "What do you want?" he asked.
"Oh, Haru always starts off with a hot chocolate with whip cream!" Makoto said as he talked to Nagisa about his order. Sosuke wasn't liking how much everyone else knew the guy he was dating. He turned back to Haru, but the kid had vanished. Looking around he saw Haru walking off with Nagisa, Gou and Seijuro.
"Yeah, it's hard keeping an eye on him sometimes. I swear Makoto has sixteen eyes just watching over Haru!" Rin chuckled. "He will be a great parent when he has his own kids." He added.
"Haru being good practice?" Sosuke muttered.
"Yeah, but it's not like Haru is a little kid. He just doesn't think of people..." Rin shrugged unable to convey just what it was he wanted to say. Haru had always been his best friend.
At their seats Haru pointed out which ones were theirs. Gou took charge ordering Seijuro in first. She then put her bag down to save the next seat for Rin. Nagisa and Rei would take the two seats in front. Haru sat down in his usual seat. Makoto always sat on the end, but how Gou was doing it was messing it up.
Makoto's mom came up to them. "Oh, you made it, and you brought the others!" she beamed as she greeted Haru with a hug. Haru returned it then offered her the package from the bag. She had long ago given up telling the sweet quiet boy to not bring her things. She knew Haru just wouldn't listen.
"Thank you." He kissed his cheek as it turned red. Inside the box was a wooden carved key chain, it was in the shape of a peace dove.
"Haru, this is perfect!" She had complained about always losing her keys since her Little Iwatobi Keychain broke. She had always loved doves.
Makoto came up behind her. "Oh, Haru, that's amazing." He said as he passed out the drinks.
"Where did you find something like that?" Rei asked. He squeezed by to get next to Nagisa.
