The camera flashed before his eyes. Haru tried hard not to raise his hand. He gripped Sosuke's elbow. The dark haired swimmer titled his head back to glance at him. The camera flashed again. Sosuke saw the other blink. He smirked.
"Hey, can we take a little break?" he asked. The photographer looked up.
"Yes I want the other couple." He stated. Sosuke led Haru off to the side.
He pulled him against him tilting his head up he kissed his lips. His hand slid along the dark clothed arm to join their hands. The matching white gold bands gleaming together, as Haru curled his fingers around Sosuke's hand. This day had been the best of his life. Haru thought.
He had awoken to a pounding on his door. He didn't realize Sosuke had locked it when he left the night before. Groggily, Haru wobbled his way forward. It had been past midnight by the time he had fallen asleep. As the lock clicked the door burst open.
"YOU HAVE GOT TO HELP ME!" Makoto burst in yelling. He flung a bag into Haru's confused arms. Haru watched as Makoto pulled at his hair. He was ranting about breakfast and coffee and spills.
Haru was thinking about the coffee now. He remembered the mackerel he had prepared just before going to bed the night before. Smoked mackerel, coffee maybe some rice and toast with the mixed sautéed vegetables he had... He got slapped on the back of his head.
Looking up he saw Makoto looking at him hopefully. Haru starred into the trusting green eyes of his best friend. Coffee. He remembered him yelling about coffee. Haru looked down at the bag in his hand. He snorted.
"Well, why did you put it on so early?" he demanded. He stormed into the kitchen. Hanging the bag up, he went to start the coffee maker.
"You can fix it?" Makoto asked a bit sheepishly.
"I should let you suffer. I haven't even had my bath yet!" Haru moaned.
"Did I...? Where you asleep?" Makoto asked. Haru was drawing out the fish to put in the pot he had on the stove.
"That is what one does at night." He commented. Makoto looked stunned.
"I haven't slept at all!" He wailed. Haru glanced at him.
"Why not?" he asked. Makoto slumped in the chair. He looked defeated.
"Too nervous, too excited too... just too!" He moaned. Haru sighed.
"I'm telling you we should have had a sex party yesterday. It would have relaxed us all." He continued on with preparing his breakfast.
"Haru, that's not what you do the day before your wedding!" Makoto wailed. Haru shrugged.
"Why not? It's not like it won't happen again. It's been what, four times now." Haru looked at his dearest friend. Makoto was smirking.
"Yeah, well not until after the honeymoon." He stated.
"Oh, then I should cancel the hotel room for tonight?" Haru asked. Makoto gasped.
"You didn't!" He hid his eyes behind his large hand.
"Everyone said the planes don't leave until morning." Haru shrugged. The fish was done. He divided everything up onto two plates. Poured the coffee adding the milk and sugar as Makoto liked it. He placed a plate before the other boy.
"Yes, but not for that re..." He was interrupted by Haru's phone rang. Haru picked it up. He answered it. Rin's voice shouted out at him.
"MAKAOTO'S AT YOUR HOUSE!" He screamed. Haru held the phone away from his ear.
"Uh, yes. We are having breakfast." He explained.
"But I need you!" Rin wailed.
"Sosuke can help you, go to his house." He instructed.
