Chapter 79: "Heroic"

As soon as the lasers were done cutting the door, it opened as Mangle, Foxy, Bonnie, and Charlie teleported into the Shadow Dimension. I could see multiple endoskeletons and Prototypes in front of us as we shot our Shadow Beams at them. John and Helpy made their way to block Freddy and the computer where Scott was on, as to defend themselves from the enemy. One of the endoskeletons charged at me with their blade out as I immediately attempted to punch it in the face, as it dodged my attack. It attempted to slash me with its blade as I summoned my axe using the Resurrection Power and threw my axe straight at its face, causing to fall on the ground deactivated. Two more endoskeletons charged at me as I attempted to strike the one to my right, though it dodged my attack and seemed to ignore me since it ran past me. The other endoskeleton did the same as well, with the both of them making their way towards Freddy and Scott's systems. John was prepared for the right endoskeleton making its way towards him, as he immediately summoned his daggers once the endoskeleton was in his range and slashed its face. It stumbled back before he stabbed both of them into its head, deactivating it for good as it fell onto the ground. The other endoskeleton that was heading towards Helpy was running fast as it could, all while Helpy got prepared to defeat it. Right when the endoskeleton approached him Helpy jumped in the air as high as he could and aimed for the endoskeleton, as he landed on its face. The endoskeleton aimed its arm with its laser at him, as he quickly jumped as it attempted to shoot at him. The laser flew past the endoskeletons head as Helpy shot multiple Shadow Beams at its right leg, causing it to stumble from its crippled leg. Helpy then jumped and punched the endoskeleton in the face as hard as he could, before doing over-and-over again. Finally the endoskeleton deactivated for good, as Helpy got off the endoskeleton and back on the ground. We all turned back around to the sight of Ennard approaching all of us now as the Prototypes and endoskeletons at his side aimed their lasers at us. "Defending your friend and that traitor, Scott Cawthon, is meaningless. It won't be long until you'll fall, and even sooner until your father's plan comes to fruition. It would be better if you gave us the pleasure of ending your miserable lives," spoke Ennard. "BECAUSE THEY WON'T MEAN ANYTHING WHEN ALL OF YOU BURN IN HELL! SO HOW ABOUT YOU GET IT OVER WITH!" yelled the other Freddy part of him at us. "Not gonna happen. Especially after coming this far," I responded. "You've could've made this easier on yourselves. Unfortunate," said Ennard. He suddenly lunged himself at me as I quickly summoned my axe from the power and tried to stab him with it, as he quickly moved his body out of the way. The other endoskeletons and Prototype's that were with him fired their lasers at Freddy and Scott, as both John and Helpy summoned shields in front of them to block the attacks. Ennard wrapped his wires around my arm, causing me to drop the axe as it disappeared, giving Ennard the chance to strike me now. I immediately entered the Resurrection State, increasing the power that was flowing through me as Ennard was looking at me for what I had done. The smirk on his face he had was not a good sign, as he entered the Resurrection State as well. I managed to kick him in the stomach, causing him to loosen his grip as I managed to pull my right arm away and punch him right in the face. He managed to let go, though it didn't seem to faze him at all as he managed to throw a punch back that I didn't even have time to block, causing me to stumble back. I quickly shook it off as I noticed a Redbear and Tangle walking towards me, most likely here to assist Ennard. The Redbear quickly shot a Shadow Beam at me, which I had to block immediately with a Shadow Shield. I had almost forgotten Freddy telling us that these units possessed the Resurrection Power, which was only going to make our job harder. Still, we had trained for this. I quickly got rid of my shield and summoned my axe again and tried to strike the Redbear, which it blocked using its own Shadow Shield. I quickly ducked my head to the swipe of the Tangle as it shot a Shadow Beam at me. I dodge the attack as Ennard ran at me and attempted to kick me as I blocked his kick with my arms before he managed to punched me in the stomach. I stumbled back a little before Redbear ran at me before I quickly shot Shadow Beams at him, which he managed to avoid by entering the Shadow Dimension. He managed to reappear near Freddy, as he got ready to shoot a Shadow Beam at him. John managed to stop him by charging at him and tackling him onto the ground, as he managed to punch the Redbear over-and-over. I had to focus my attention back to who I was fighting, as Tangle attempted to kick me, which I avoided by jumping back. Ennard ran at me and attempted to strike me, as I blocked his attack with my axe again and attempted to strike at him. He dodged to the side before attempting to grab me again, as I managed to kick him in the stomach. However it didn't work as I had planned as his wires wrap around my leg and pull me down on the ground before I quickly shot a Shadow Beam at him. I managed to hit Ennard in the arm, as he groaned a little from the damage before he managed to throw me back on the ground from his chest. I slide on the ground as the Tangle charged at me now, before I quickly got up and attempted to punch it in the chest. Unfortunately it was prepared for the attack as it blocked the attack with a shield, before I noticed it wasn't covering its legs, which I managed to strike by kicking her in the left leg. It stumbled back and had her shield disappear, as I managed to shot a couple Shadow Beams at its face. It completely stumbled back and onto the ground, as I used my axe to smash into its face a couple times before it finally deactivated. Ennard ran at me again and tried to strike me, as I blocked his attack with a Shadow Shield, as I noticed three Prototype's charging at me. Me and Ennard quickly turned to the sight of John throwing the Redbear he was fighting towards us, as he landed on the ground deactivated. This gave me the chance to get rid of my shield as I attempted to punch Ennard, which he dodged before he shot a Shadow Beam at me. I dodged it by rolling to the side before throwing my axe at him, as he ducked before it flew past his head and onto the ground then disappearing a second later. One Prototype attempted to stab me with its blade, as I managed to summon my axe again and swung it down on its blade and destroyed it. I punched it as hard I could in the face, causing it to stumble back. I noticed, however, the other two endoskeletons running towards Scott's computer, as Helpy ran over to one of them and punched it in the leg, while John appeared in front of the other one and punched it in the face. The Prototype I was fighting turned to aim its laser at Freddy as I ran towards it and tackled it to the ground, punching it in the face before it aimed its laser at me. I punched its arm with its laser, as its shot managed to hit the ceiling before the Prototype attempted to smack me on the head with its laser. I quickly shot a Shadow Beam at the laser, destroying it as it exploded part of the Prototype's hand off. I quickly punched in the face multiple times before it fell back on the ground, allowing me to shoot multiple Shadow Beams in its face before it finally deactivated. I noticed John stab his daggers into the legs of the Prototype and onto the ground before kicking it in the face, before finally pulling one of his daggers out of it to stab its face. It quickly grabbed the dagger and prevented John from destroying it, though John used his free left arm and shot a couple Shadow Beams at it before it was finally destroyed. Helpy was dealing with the other Prototype, as he managed to shoot it in the leg before he opened fire his back. He pulled out the gun Henry had given him, which he had managed to save until now. Perhaps now he felt it was best to use it. He ran at the endoskeleton, entering the Resurrection State, all before kicking him in the leg as best as he could. The endoskeleton managed to stumble over before Helpy aimed the gun at its chest, firing a couple shots before ducking from the explosion that followed after. Ennard had to duck out of the range of the blast, as did I from the purple haze that surrounded the area for a moment. Luckily the Prototype wasn't close enough to damage Freddy and Scott so at least Helpy took that factor into consideration. I got up as I turned to Ennard, who was getting up on the ground, before John reappeared right in front of him. John attempted to punch him, as Ennard rolled out of the way and ran at John to attack him, which John blocked a punch from him using a Shadow Shield. Helpy shot a couple Shadow Beams at Ennard, who summoned his own shield to block his attacks as I ran up to him to attack while he was distracted. I summoned my axe again and attempted to strike Ennard, though I turned to the sight of a White Rabbit running at me. I ducked his punch and attempted to strike it with my axe, as he jumped back before Ennard wrapped himself around me from behind. The White Rabbit punched me multiple times before it turned to the sight of Helpy shooting Shadow Beams at it. The White Rabbit moved to the side to avoid the attacks, as Ennard suddenly let go to John pulling him off me from behind and slamming him onto the ground. John punched him, only for Ennard to block his attack by using his wires for his arms to guard himself, before finally smacking his head against John. John stumbled back as Ennard charged at him now, as I got myself ready to help him. However I turned to the sight of four endoskeletons, two Prototypes, and a Tangle entering the room now as they made a beeline for Freddy and the computer. It didn't matter how many we destroyed, they would keeping coming if Mangle didn't shut down the power. We just had to wait and rely on her skills for her to succeed and hold out as long as we can. We wouldn't allow the enemy to harm Freddy and Scott. The Tangle charged at me, as I held her arms to hold her in place, as the rest of the minions that entered the room went straight for Freddy and Scott. Helpy, who was still fighting the White Rabbit, aimed his gun at the endoskeleton that was farthest behind the group shot a couple bullets at the feet of the endoskeleton, crippling its leg as it had to stop from the damage. As soon as it turned its body towards him Helpy shot a couple bullets at the chest of it, until finally the endoskeleton that was filled with purple light that filled the room before the explosion that occurred afterwards. Helpy was suddenly punched in the face multiple times from the White Rabbit, before aiming for his chest multiple times. The Tangle I was still holding back tried to bite my head, as I let go and kicked it in the cheek, causing it to stumble back before I attempted to swing my axe at it I had made again. It ducked my attack before shooting a couple Shadow Beams at me. I entered the Shadow Dimension, though as soon as I did so, the Tangle managed to do the same and tried to strike me with its feet. I blocked its attack with my Shadow Shield as it charged at the shield, kicking it over-and-over until I couldn't keep it up longer. Right when it going to attack again I got rid of my shield and managed to punch it in the face. I exited the Shadow Dimension and turned to the sight of Helpy getting behind the White Rabbit and ripping out the wires of its head before it finally fell on the ground defeated. I turned back to John, who was all by himself and defending Freddy and Scott from Ennard and the minions that had already tried to go for their objectives. "Better help him," said Helpy running over to me. "Agreed," I responded as we both ran over to the fight. I will say John was holding his own well, though it most likely wouldn't last long. I summoned another axe and threw it at one of the endoskeletons, as one of the Prototype's managed to shoot it out of the air and cause it to disappear. Still I had them distracted as I managed to charge up my punch with the Resurrection Power and punched the same endoskeleton in the face as hard as I could, causing it to crash into one of the other endoskeletons before I shot Shadow Beams at the other Prototype's and endoskeletons, who all ducked to avoid the blasts. Helpy ran at Ennard and attempted to punch him, as Ennard attempted to strike him back with his wires, though Helpy avoided his attack by sliding underneath him and shot his gun at him. Ennard ducked, though Helpy still managed to shot him in the neck as John grabbed him and punched him over-and-over. Suddenly two Redbears and two more Prototypes walked in the room as they made their way towards Freddy and Scott. John stopped punching Ennard, who stumbled back now, as she disappeared, while I shot multiple Shadow Beams at the enemies I was still fighting. I managed to hit one of the remaining endoskeletons in the face, destroying it for good as the two other Prototypes charged at me. Suddenly the Tangle I was fighting before appeared in front of me and swiped my leg, causing me to fall on the ground before attempting to stomp on me. I rolled out of the way as it stomped on the ground before I got up and shot multiple Shadow Beams at it, which it managed to dodge. John appeared in front of the Redbears and Prototypes that were here for backup, as he engaged in a fight with them now. Helpy ran at the Tangle, endoskeletons, and Prototypes near me and shot multiple Shadow Beams at them. Suddenly he was tackled from behind by Ennard as they both landed on the ground, all before I turned to face the Tangle and summoned an axe before throwing it at her chest. She managed to avoid it by entering the Shadow Dimension before I ran at the axe and grabbed it, all before she reappeared behind me now. I swung the axe behind me at the neck of the Tangle with all the Resurrection Power focused on the attack and axe, cutting its head completely off as it flew up in the air and back on the ground. its body fell onto the ground as the Prototypes and endoskeletons ran at me with their blades out, which was a mistake on their part. I swung at the blade of the Prototype, cutting its blade in half as I swung at its head, which it avoided by jumping back. One of the endoskeletons tried coming up from behind me as I quickly turned around and swung my blade at its neck and cut its head off, falling to the ground soon after. The remaining endoskeleton and Prototypes shot their lasers at me now, which I blocked using a Shadow Shield before I charged at them. They all moved out of the way as I then ran for the endoskeleton that was closest before it aimed its laser at me to fire upon, all before I cut off its arm then its body, all before falling down on the ground. Its upper body was still moving as I swung my axe at its head, deactivating it for good now as it shut down now. I noticed Helpy still fighting Ennard, though it seemed Helpy needed help considering Ennard had his wires wrapped around his neck. I ran at him as the two Prototypes fired their lasers at me, which I avoided as best as I could before Ennard noticed me and disappeared by entering the Shadow Dimension. Before I even had the chance to assist Helpy, Ennard appeared above me and wrapped his wires around me as he attempted to rip my suit apart. Helpy quickly ran at Ennard before he shot a bullet at Ennard, which he dodged by moving his wires out of the way. Helpy disappeared before reappearing in the air as he landed on Ennard from behind and punched him as hard as he could. "BEGONE YOU ANT!" screamed the Freddy side of Ennard as he threw Helpy at the wall. Helpy hit the wall and fell onto the ground, as I immediately summoned my axe and tried to slash Ennard, as he let go of me now and attempted to strike back by punching me. I avoided his attack and swung my axe at him, though he managed to slap it out of my hand as it fell onto the ground. Suddenly me and Ennard both turned to Helpy managing to shoot a bullet at Ennard's leg, which caused Ennard to become crippled as I quickly turned around and summoned my axe again as I attempted to strike him, though he disappeared by entering the Shadow Dimension. Suddenly Helpy got in front of me as I turned around to the sight of one of the remaining Prototype's as it shot a laser at Helpy, who jumped in the air and summoned a shield to block the attack. As soon as Helpy landed on the ground I ran towards the two Prototypes and threw my axe at the closet one, which it avoided by ducking. Helpy ran at the other Prototype and shot multiple Shadow Beams by jumping in the air, as it shot multiple lasers back before Helpy summoned a shield. The Prototype moved to the side before Helpy landed back on the ground and shot two bullets at it and disabled its leg before shooting more Shadow Beams at its already crippled leg, completely severing it from the rest of the body. I had to focus back on the Prototype I was fighting as it tried slashing me with its blade, as I ducked during each of its attack before I lunged at it and summoned my axe before swiping at its legs, causing it to stumble to the ground from the damage. I went in to destroy its head, as it managed to roll before shooting lasers at me, which I avoided by dodging all of them before I smacked my axe against its arm. With one of the Prototype's weapons destroyed it attempted to slash me with its blade, as I slammed my leg on its arm with its blade to hold it down before I smack my axe against its head repeatedly until it was deactivated for good. I turned to the sight of Helpy getting thrown on the ground by the laser, as I could see the mark left behind on his chest from it. "Dammit!" I exclaimed as I ran towards the Prototype, as it noticed me while attempting to fire lasers at me still crippled on the ground. I blocked its attacks by using a shield before I smacked it into the Prototype and throwing it completely on the ground now, as I then proceeded to summoned my axe and cut off its arm, which it then tried to fight back by kicking me with its remaining functioning leg. I grabbed its leg and smacked my axe against it until it was severed from its body, all before I raised my axe and smacked it against the Prototype's head to finally deactivate it. I turned to Helpy as I got up and walked over to him, who slowly got up from the ground. "Are you ok?" I asked kneeling down to check up on him. "It's really burns. Nothing too bad. What the hell is taking Freddy and Duality so long? Duality is supposed to help us as well," responded Helpy. "I don't know," I responded. "Duality? Are you there?" There was no response, which was concerning to say the least. "His communications must be blocked. Probably explains why we haven't heard him in so long," I guessed. We both turned to the sight of John fighting Ennard as the Redbears and Prototypes John was fighting earlier made their way towards us, as another two Tangles, two White Rabbits, and four Prototypes entered the room to follow the other units, as they ran to where me and Helpy were. "If we're going out, guess all I ask for is a heroic death," said Helpy forming a fighting stance. "Yeah. To think it would be this soon," I responded. "I'm sure Henry would be proud of what you've done for us. Thank you." "Just doing what I can," responded Helpy as the enemy approached us now. We both turned around and went for the same White Rabbit approaching us as I punched its face, which Helpy punched it in the leg. It wasn't prepared to defend against our attacks as me and Helpy then shot Shadow Beams at it, as I blocked an attack from one of the Redbears. I blocked it with my Shadow Shield before I got rid of it and attempted to punch it back, though it managed to avoid my attack by moving to the side before a Prototype tried slashing me from behind. One of the other Prototypes attempted to run at Freddy with its blade pointed at him, as I attempted to shoot a Shadow Beam at it. I didn't have time as a Redbear punched me in the face, however I saw Helpy run at the Prototype and shoot multiple Shadow Beams at him, before he lunged at its chest and grabbed onto it. The Prototype tried to get him off as Helpy jumped below and shot its leg, which managed to crippled the Prototype. He then turned to the other Prototypes as they were also attempting to stab Scott's systems, as Helpy managed to shoot both of their legs to crippled them. The Prototype Helpy had crippled behind him attempted to aim its laser at Freddy, before Helpy stopped it by grabbing its arm with its laser and moving it away as Helpy managed to aim it at the other crippled Prototype's before shooting its laser at the both of them. He fired multiple times at their bodies before finally they were consumed by a purple explosion. I didn't get a chance to see what happened next as I was punched in the face by one of the Tangle's before it smacked me in the face with its foot. However I could see Helpy aiming the laser he had ripped off from the Prototype and shot at the Prototype in the face to deactivated it. The remaining enemies focused their attention on Helpy as they all walked on over to him, as Helpy aimed his gun at them. He pulled the trigger, only for nothing to happen as he stared at it to realize the clip was empty. He looked over at me and back at the enemies, followed by him dropping his gun on the floor. "Don't tell me..." I said to myself realizing what he was about to do. I attempted to get off the floor as I had to block an attack from the Tangle, before the Redbear stood in front of me and tried to kick me. Suddenly there was a loud explosion that could be heard from down the hallway, which meant only one thing. Mangle and her team had succeed at destroying the generator, meaning my father could not send any more reinforcements. At least their mission was a success, though the current state of ours could not be said. All of the enemies in front of Helpy charged at him, as they all attempted to strike however they could, while he fought back by firing the laser he had stolen back at them. I punched the Redbear in the stomach as hard as I could, causing him to stumble on the ground as then punching the Tangle behind me and ran at the enemies Helpy was fighting. I had to turn around and block an attack from a Prototype who was trying to stab me with its blade, as I summoned my axe and cut its blade in half. One of the White Rabbits that was focused on Helpy turned around and attempted to grab me, as I tried to punch it to ward it off. I noticed one of the Redbear attempted to punch Helpy as he jumped back to avoid it before it shot a Shadow Beam at him. Helpy blocked it with a Shadow Shield as he fired more lasers at one of the Prototypes before he managed to knock it down on the ground, followed by him shooting Shadow Beams at the same Redbear. I had to block another attack from the Prototype I was fighting, as it attempted to shoot its laser at me. I ran over to it and kicked it in the stomach, as it had no chance to defend himself as it stumbled back. I shot multiple Shadow Beams at his laser on his arm, causing it to explode as I slammed my axe into it's face and caused it to be knocked down. I turned around to the sight of the Tangle attempting to attack me, as well as all the enemies firing their lasers or shooting Shadow Beams at Helpy, which he blocked with his Shadow Shield. The enemy continuously fired upon his shield repeatedly, as I could see Helpy having trouble keeping his shield for up any longer. I then noticed one of the Prototype's aim its laser at the computer Scott was using, as one of the Redbears also aimed his hand at Freddy to shoot him with a Shadow Beam. Helpy seemed to noticed this as he looked at both sides, then at the enemy shooting at his shield still, almost realizing what needed to be done. Even I understood what he was about to do. He quickly got rid of his shield and jumped to the right and shot all his lasers at the Prototype that was focused on him, which didn't have time to avoid some of the shots as it stumbled back from being by his lasers. Helpy then aimed the laser at the Redbear where he was heading towards when he jumped in its way, shooting multiple laser at it now. Unfortunately it blocked all Helpy's blast with its own Shadow Shield, as the other enemies all fired their attacks on Helpy. There was nothing Helpy could do as he was hit by all the lasers and fell onto the ground with holes through his body, chest, and even head. "Helpy... " I said at once. Suddenly all the enemies turned to the sight of Freddy facing us now, who appeared to be active now as the computer shut off now. It seemed he was ready to join the fight again now, even with Helpy giving us his heroic to ensure Freddy and Scott would survive. He proved he was one of us. Now was the time to honor his sacrifice and ensure we would escape to end my father's life. It's what Helpy wanted, but as well as Henry. You did good Helpy. You did good.
