Once I enter the office, Armin comes up to me right away as if he had been stalking around the entrance
"Where have you been? It's already after 1 pm. Why didn't you come in this morning."
"I was with a client of course, Kim Taehyung."
He gives me a look as if he doesn't believe me
Honestly, he's getting on my last nerve. I'm a great employee, I don't deserve to be treated like this.
"It was a last minute meeting. We met to check out one of his properties."
"Well, as long as it was for work, we need to keep up those sales!"
"I know that." You tell us everyday
"Come to think of it isn't Mr. Kim your only client?"
"Yes but I think he deserves my full attention. He's selling and buying, I'm already set to make double commission."
"Okay, okay, I want the red carpet rolled out for him. You need to be bringing your A game. Actually....just to make sure....I'll follow up with him personally."
"What?!"
"High time I get client satisfaction report on you."
"But I haven't needed one of those since my first year."
"You've been gone a lot. Anyways, it's just a formality but it will go in your permanent file."
This is so unfair "Yes, it's a formality for people just starting their careers." I give him a sharp confident look "I am an established agent, one of your most profitable. I'm kinda insulted"
"And I kinda run this company and I can do as I please."
Ugh, he's such a child "if you say so."
He takes out his phone and walks off and I head to my desk but an hour later, I'm shocked to see Taehyung come into the office
We lock eyes and I watch as he approaches Armin
I hear their voices echo across the room and go a little closer
"Oh it's you Mr. Kim! I wasn't expecting you."
"You asked for a client satisfaction report on Aaliyah. So, I came to give you one."
"Mr. Kim, you didn't have to come- I didn't mean to cause trouble."
"I'm just going to say this once, Mrs. Guerra is by far the best agent I have ever worked with, You're lucky to have her on your team. She has been nothing but helpful and I'm confused as to why you're wasting my time and no doubts hers."
