Just as a side note, I changed chapter 29 around a little bit. So if this doesn't make sense, you'll know why.
Last week was a journey, and it wasn't a good journey. You see, last week, both Dean and I had to defend our championships. Due to interferences, we lost our belts. But that's not all! Dean, Seth, Roman, and myself all had to fight each member of Evolution. Two of the matches ended in a DQ, while the other two ended the way it should have, by pinning our opponents.
After what happened last week, I am not looking forward to tonight. I don't know what to expect.
But, we made it into the arena, and we changed into our gear. A knock came at the door, and Joe went to answer it. He reached out, and grabbed whoever was outside. And surprise surprise, it was Brad Maddox.
"What do you want?"- Lelani
We circled him, and he got real nervous.
"I-I just wanted to let you know of your matches."- Brad
We all looked at each other, and encouraged him to continue.
"I-well, Seth , you have a match against Randy Orton. Roman, Dean, you will be fighting Dave Bautista and Triple H. And Lelani, yo-"- Brad
He stopped again. Joe grabbed him by the nape of the neck, in hopes of making him talk.
"Spit it out Maddox!"- Seth
"Come on, we don't have to get physical here."- Dean
"Well, Lelani is set to fight Aj Lee, The Bella Twins, and Malia Orton."- Brad
I clenched my jaw, but motioned for the boys to get rid of Maddox. Once they did, we decided to address what just happened in our undisclosed location.
. . .
We stood in our dark corner, with Roman and I in the middle, Seth on Roman's right, and Dean pacing back and forth on my left.
"AGH! First, Lelani and I lose our championships, then we're put in singles action against Evolution. You know, because of them, we have been turned into the laughing stock of the company! You know, we just received word for the so-called general manager that we all have matches. Which is fine, EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT OUR GIRL IS BEING PUT IN A HANDI-CAPPED MATCH! I am getting sick and tired of this!"- Dean
"Hey! calm down Dean. We understand your pain. We hate seeing Lelani being put in these ridiculous matches just to appease Evolution. But you know what? She can handle it. That is why we picked her to be in the Shield. She is the one who brings justice to the Diva's lockeroom. And when the dust settles tonight, she will be the one standing tall."- Seth
"That's right. I hate these 2-1, 3-1 Handi-capped matches, but you know what? If I did it once, I can do it again. And Nikki, enjoy being Diva's champion while it lasts. Because once we are done with Evolution, I'm coming after you, and I'm taking MY championship back. In fact, we ALL will go after our championships."- Lelani
"Believe that."- Roman
We put our fists together, and the camera showed our unity.
*Meanwhile in the Authority's office*
All of Evolution stood around as they listened to the Shield. They were laughing, because to them, Malia has already won the match.
"This will be easy. I mean, we are practically tearing them apart bit by bit, and they don't even realize."- Triple H
"This will be a walk in the park. And you know, when we walk into the match, she'll be helpless because it will be four to one. But, I do feel bad. So I think the match will be an elimination match. I'll give her some sort of advantage. But that won't change the fact that we will walk out with the win. Because she will learn the ways of Evolution are the right ways."- Malia
