Prologue

It was a beautiful day in the boiling isles, Lilith was trying to rest. But because she was used on going to missions, she was full of energy

Lilith groaned before changing her clothes and going outside for a walk, she decided to go grocery shopping

"Good morning miss Lilith, is it your rest day?" The cashier asked, Lilith nodded with a smile

"Anything new today?" Lilith asked looking around the store "Indeed there is, I found this baby"

Lilith was left speechless, who abandons children? "Where exactly did you find it?" Lilith asked poking the cheek of the baby

"Outside the store, there was a note. I haven't read it though" the cashier said handing Lilith the note

"Why are you giving me this? I'm not adopting it. I'm not ready for parenthood!" Lilith exclaimed, the cashier laughed

"You don't need to adopt her, maybe she can be your apprentice" the cashier suggested, Lilith thought for awhile before nodding

"Fine, I have nothing to do anyways. How much?" Lilith carried the baby and put the note in her pocket

"Just a thousand snails"

"A thousand?! I'm taking a burden off of you"

"Not really a burden, I just don't like babies. But fine, a hundred will do"

Lilith paid and bought some baby supplies before going back to her house, the baby was quiet the whole time which Lilith thanked the Gods for

Lilith put the baby down on the couch and giving her some toys before putting the baby's things on their respective places

"Ok little one, do you know your name?" Lilith asked after cleaning the things and sitting down beside the baby

The baby pointed on Lilith's pocket, Lilith took out the note and read it

This little baby is a special one, but she failed to do an excellent job. Her name is y/n. Her date of birth is (Your birth date) .You might notice that this girl is quite intelligent, it's because she is. Her estimated iq when she grows up is 175, but do remind you she might get smarter. " If they care for you that much, why did they abandoned you?" Lilith asked Y/n, while y/n just shrugged

"Are you mute?" Lilith asked, Y/n shook her head having a scared expression, Lilith laughed at her expression

"Do you know how to talk?" Lilith asked, Y/n shook her head "Then I should teach you what babies should be taught first" Lilith said putting away the equipment she was supposed to teach y/n with

Lilith spent the whole day teaching y/n to talk or walk, but at the end of the day y/n learned that sleep is easier than learning
