Love fades but not for you

Chapter 44

When we woke up from napping I walked Louis and Cali up to her bedroom. 

"Oh my! This crib is beautiful Harry! Look at your bed Cali! Look how cute your bedding is!" Louis walks closer to the crib letting Cali get a better look. 

"See if shell lay in it." Louis puts her over the side and she sits up holding onto the side.

"She looks so tiny in there! shes going to be lonely in here by herself." I throw my arm around louis neck and smile down at him. 

"Were right across the hall baby, If she cries we will get her out and snuggle her between us like we have been." He looks up at me giving me a small grin. I peck his lips and look back at Cali. 

I get Cali back out of the crib and we go back down stairs. Louis turns on Shrek and I set Cali in the floor back on her blanket with a few toys. 

"Im going to go make us something to eat." I tell Louis walking past him to go to the kitchen. I make some chicken tenders and fries and grab two drinks. I give Louis his plate and sit down beside of him. We watch the cartoon and every few minutes we both watch Cali. When weve finished our food Cali starts fussing. 

"Ill go get her some baby food and her bottle." I tell Louis when he goes to get up. 

"Are you sure? Youve done enough today love. I dont mind to feed her."

"I got it babe." I lean down and kiss his cheek.

I get Cali her bananas and her bottle. She eats half of the container and starts falling back asleep while drinking her bottle. 

"Im going to go lay her in her crib." I whisper to Louis sitting with his legs tucked under him.

I slowly make my way up to Calis room and lay her down. I kiss her head goodnight and turn the night light on Louis got for her today.

Walking out of her room I get a glimpse of a body in my bed. I furrow my brows and walk to the bedroom door. 

"When did you come up here?" I ask Louis whos sprawled out on the bed. 

"About a minute after you did." 

"Youre going to give me a heart attack one day. You should stop being sneaky!" 

"I was trying to be quite so I wouldnt wake her up." He chuckles. I stand by the bedside and stare at him. 

"I love you, you know that?" He sits up on his elbows.

"Yes I know that and I love you, so much." He reaches his small hand out and I take him. He pulls me down onto him and I hold my self above him with my hands. 

"I cant believe we have a baby." I kiss the tip of his nose.
