Rain felt the pain that Lloyd felt, as it soaked him in its covers. It was cold but barrable. Lloyd didn't look bothered. After all, he was only staring at the grave stone, the rain didn't do much damage to it like it did to the dirt. Surely it messed his shoes up a little, the dirt. Lloyd kept his eyes at the stone, the words that spelled:

[In a loving memory, Kai Smith.]

Lloyd couldn't stop looking at those words carved on the stone. He was staring at them ever since he got there, ever since the funeral started, ever since it finished- he is still looking at it, thinking- Could it have been different?

But even he knew, as much as others- that it couldn't have been different.

He just liked to think it in other views, of other points. Maybe in some way it could have ended differently?

Kai didn't deserve this.

It echoed through his head. The bare sentence made him burst into tears.

Blond collapsed after a long time of standing. He fell on his knees, pulled his hands towards his face to cover it. He successfully did it, but few tears managed to slip by, and fall from his face to the ground.

He started sobbing.

It's been a day since the incident. The horror he so wishes never happend, but even now more to forget.

Kai's death he shall never forget.

It is clear to him that he won't ever forget.

Kai was his brother, his teammate, but beyond all that- his friend. He helped him in so many ways, to grow up, to heal. Kai was a family figure that he never had. He ment so much to Lloyd. And Lloyd was grateful to have him. But it is killing him to know that Kai died without knowing how much he meant to Lloyd.

But it is done now.

He is dead.

And one thing Lloyd learned- Dead don't come back.

Blond picked himself up, and stood high up again. He let his head fall on his shoulders, allowing the rain to wash his tears.

He was tired.

His eyes were bright red, and they hurt because of all the crying.

He never cried this hard in his whole life.

Neither did he expect he'd have to burry a friend.

But it was all true.

It was all his fault.

Lloyd let's out a muffle sigh.

He could have prevented this. Kai could have been alive right now. If he never fell for that stupid letter. Kai would be right beside him.

Lloyd bites his lower lip in anger, tightening his fists.

Of course he fell for it, once he read the letter he didn't hesitate to go after it, leaving everyone behind to worry.
