Sometimes, he really couldn't believe that he was his own father- Lord Garmadon.

It never bothered him, like when Garmadon was banished and his whole life took a turn, not even when he had to face him in battle.

Lloyd's whole title as the green ninja exists only because of his father.

But did that fact, that carved right into his skull, bother him?

The answer is no, no it didn't.

It doesn't bother him because he is, afterall his father. Even though he's evil- Lloyd remembers there once was a man who cared for him behind that same name.

Some will even say that he has a soft spot for him, but that's already too much.

Overall- Garmadons existence as his 'mortal' enemy didn't bother his at all.

But.

But when his father, Lord Garmadon, takes something that was Lloyd's- he cannot let it slide.

Lloyd doesn't care about unnecessary stuff, anyone can take that from him- but turning his friends against him and killing Kai- it was beyond any line of sanity.

So Lloyd stood there, his hands handcuffed, barely hearing any word that his father said, tightening his wrist- holding himself back from blasting Garmadons head off.

Rage was not big enough word to describe his feelings.

As soon as Garmadon came to the hideout he took Lloyd under his surveillance.

Lloyd knew what his father wanted- his powers, that's all there is to it.

Garmadon preceded to tell Lloyd all the details of his master plan of the "new Ninjago city" and "new realm" as he wanted to use Lloyd's powers to create a better place as his father's image.

Lloyd didn't hear half of it.

Anger was one of the reasons, but mostly because he was devastated.

Garmadon left after the Oni attack.

But during the attack he helped save  Ninjago. Lloyd really thought he changed. For the better.

But here he was- as glorious as ever.

If it wasn't for Lloyd being his son, Garmadon would have definitely killed him by now. Afterall, Lloyd is the most powerful being, a second hand to the FSM. But Garmadon seemed merciful enough to let him live, and even ask him:

"Join me."

Garmadon held a devilish grin on his face, full of pride.

Lloyd stared at him blankly.

Someone was gonna lose his head.

Once Lloyd didn't reply, Garmadon sighed. He moved closer to the boy, wrapping his arm around Lloyd's neck. He flinched.

"Listen Lloyd, I saw what your powers can do- they can be used for greater good!"
He explained.
