.There were times in battle that Lloyd just wished he'd died. It wasn't anything personal, but something is better to avoid than to experience again.
Scars.
What are they?
Scars are marks from an injury that will heal, but there is a term of 'mental scaring' witch represents trauma and process of healing.
Lloyd had both.
Ordinary scars and mental scars.
Scars first begin when you're a child. It is normal for a child to get hurt and receive a marking scar, but if you didn't experience that- good for you!
Lloyd however was a very curious kid, he would spend most of his days outside- so how can someone not expect him to get hurt?
His first scar appeared on his ankle when he fell of off a tree when he was four.
But that was a basic scar that healed over a week.
A much bigger scar was the one he received when he was five years old.
Lloyd was inside the living room- drawing. His father was reading a book over at the sofa, while his mother was making some tea.
Eventually the couple started fighting, over something Lloyd didn't bother to understand- because them fighting was normal.
After some time Lloyd finished the drawing, he got up and ran up to his mom to show it off.
His mother was to busy fighting with his father that she ignored him.
Lloyd waited patiently for his mother to finish up and spare some attention for him, but after a while he got bored and he started walking around the kitchen.
Misako and Garmadon didn't even notice him, untile they heard something splash and Lloyd screaming.
It was an incident that left a big scar.
Physically and mentally.
It took two whole weeks for the scars on his body to heal.
Thankfully he wasn't fully harmed, it was only his face.
But after it all healed, there was a little scar on his forehead that lasted until he was eight.
Other physical injuries Lloyd can't remember beside braking his arm while falling out of the Bounty with Harumi.
But there are many mental scars that he can count- but the biggest one is Morro possessing him.
He never seemed to heal from that.
Lloyd alone agrees that psychical scars aren't that bad because they will heal, he says that mental scars are the real deal.
So there he was, in Chen's hideout- tied up on the floor, being beaten by Ronin.
It wasn't that big of a deal- he didn't cry or yell, he got use to being beaten up by villains he fought.
