Lloyd was slowly, but surely recovering from his injuries. The process of healing injuries usually takes a long period of time, but right now ninjas didn't have any time to spare, so Mistakè offered her healing tea to Lloyd- with it speeding up the healing process itself.

His body was recovering, but his mind was still an empty ocean of blur.

Being a ninja and facing the difficulty of the position itself makes injuries usual and common, so all of the ninjas are already use to being psychically hurt, including Lloyd.

It took time for him to adjust to the injuries when he was a ninja in training, Lloyd was always careful to avoid the unnecessary consequences of getting injured, but even the best sometimes get hurt.

But getting hurt often wasn't as bad as some think. It helps relief the stress and anxiety of failure, and after a while panic isn't as common as it use to be.

Even back when he just started going on real missions, Wu invented something called "a breathing hour", witch was only there when Lloyd started training and all the ninjas were included in it, even though it wasn't necessary.

A breathing hour was a meditation lesson that lasted exactly 60 minutes, it took place on the training grounds.

The meditation lesson consist of silence itself, only that- silence.

Each day of the week, for one hour, Wu would sit on the cemetery floor of the training grounds in complete silence.

For the first few days he asked the ninjas to join him, but it was more of an order- witch they all obeyed.

After a few days it was up to them if they'd join him, if they wanted to.

Of course, ninja saw the meditation lesson as any other boring, Wu like lesson, with no point in it- so nobody ever joined their master in it again.

Everyone expect for Lloyd.

It was all new to him, the green ninjas duties, the ninja training, the missions, living with a lot of people he barely knew. Even though he never said anything about it, everyone thought Lloyd was growing up and understanding the schedule, but in reality he was barely catching up to it.

Wu took a notice, and invented the meditation lesson for him.

Lloyd didn't understand back then, why he was so attached to sitting in silence for the whole 60 minutes, whiteout moving at all.

Guys would question him about it- why he would spend his time on that, but Lloyd never knew the answer himself-so he never gave a clear answer.

The truth was, the whole 60 minutes he would spend on sitting in silence, Lloyd was able to open his mind and read his feelings.

It was like sleeping. After the one hour he felt refreshed and ready to train even harder.

After Wu finally took the meditation lessons off the daily to do list, Lloyd remain doing it anyways.

He didn't so it every day, because he didn't want other to think he went mad, he did it only on few occasions when he really needed to de-stress, or when he was injured.
