Chapter 24.

Tris' POV

It's been 2 weeks since I saw Tobias, but we spoke everyday on Skype. I quit my job with Caleb and applied for an editors role at a small publishing company in Birmingham. Yes, I'm moving back, nobody knows except Chris and Will. They have been very good at keeping everything quiet. I'm actually quite surprised at her, she was never really good with keeping secrets. My brother had all my belongings taken to Manchester so they're already in my new apartment. I just have a suitcase with clothes for Rosie and I.
I'm sat at the airport in NYC when they call for our flight. I pick Rosie up and walk over to the plane.

"Chris" I yell as I spot her in the crowd.
"TRIS" she screams running towards me and embracing me in a hug.
"Long time no see Tris" Will says.
We all sit in Chris' car and she drives me to our apartment. Tobias still has no clue about me moving so it will be a great surprise for him. I chose an apartment close to Tobias so that we're not too far away.
Chris drops me off, but she doesn't come in because she has some errands to do.
I walk into my apartment and start unpacking my boxes, Rosie is helping me by handing me stuff as I put them in the wardrobe or on a shelf. She really is smart.
I quickly call Tobias on Skype.
"Hey beautiful" he says
"Hi daddy" Rosie screams as she comes running towards the laptop. I pick her up and put her on my lap.
"Hello princess" he says making Rosie giggle. I look at the background behind Tobias and realise that he is at home. I grin.
"I'm gonna have to shoot off because I need to make dinner" I say to him he frowns but says goodbye.
I quickly dress Rosie and throw some clothes on and then head out the door towards my car.
I make my towards Tobias' apartment.
I walk up towards the door and ring the doorbell, I hear someone approach the door and opening it. He looks at me in shock but it's soon wiped away by happiness.
"What are you doing here, I thought you weren't gonna come and visit for another 2 weeks" he says as he ushers us inside.
Being back here feels so refreshing.
"I decided to come early and surprise you" I say
"Well this is the best surprise ever". He says grinning.
"That's not the surprise" I say and he looks at me confused. I laugh a little as he tilts his head to side, oh my he is adorable.
"I live about a street away from here, I arrived today" I say. He looks at me with his jaw open.
"That's amazing, I don't think anything could make me happier right now" he says and lifts me up in the air. As he puts me down I realise that Rosie has fallen asleep on the couch.
Tobias leans down and he presses his lips against mine. We kiss for about half an hour before I pull back because I can't breathe.
"Tris, I know this is too soon but would you do the honor of becoming my fiance again?"
