They went down. Anu sat in car. Kriti pulled Sumedh's shirt.
Kriti:
Pappa, waha kya hai? Waha chalo na..
She pointed at the silent area near the temple. Sumedh and Mallika looked there. They remembered how Sumedh was attacked there.
Mallika:
Nahi beta, waha bhoot hai. Waha nahi jaante.
Mallika didnt go deep in memory but the whole sequence ran in front of Sumedh's eyes. Sumedh was actually hallucinating everything that happened. Mallika was busy convincing Kriti not to go there. Sumedh could hear the old bullet sound in his head. And hear Mallika scream his name to save him. Sumedh suddenly pulled the real Mallika to himself covering her.
Sumedh:
Mallika!! Bacho!!
Mallika looked confused at Sumedh. Sumedh was holding her waist with 5 cm gap between them. Fear was prominently seen in his eyes.
Mallika:
Kisse bachu? Kya hua?
Sumedh ignored and hugged her tight. Mallika felt his tears on her neck.
Mallika:
Sumedh....kaa.kkya hua?
Sumedh just after 2 secs came back to the real world and left Mallika.
Mallika:
Kya hua? Tum ro kyun rahe ho? Aur mujhe aise kheecha kyun? Kisse bachne keliye kehe rahe the?
Sumedh:
Main...main...kitne sawal puchti ho tum! Chalo gaadi mein baitho.
