[Chapter Eight] Up Creek Without A Paddle

Chris: "Last time on Total Drama Island! Our campers had to take their fears head on! Some stuck it through."

[Flashes back to Gwen's and Beth's challenges.]

Chris: "But there were a few chickens!"

[Flashes to Tyler cowering in the corner of a chicken pen and Courtney climbing back down the ladder after refusing to jump into a pool of green Jell-O.]

Chris: "As well as a potential lawsuit.."

[Flashes back to you falling out of the locker unconscious.]

Chris: "Will (Y/N) actually file a lawsuit? Will anything bad actually happen to (Y/N) and Gwen's relationship? And will the author of this story actually keep up a consistent upload schedule? Find out more on Total! Drama! Island!!!"

[It's yet another day on Total Drama Island, Chris has you all gathered near a river, he has a canvas set up with some stuff written on it, unfortunately, Cody is standing next to Gwen.]

Chris: "Bass, Gophers, today's challenge is a true summer camp experience. A canoe trip!"

[He gestures over to the beach where a few canoes are set up.]

Chris: "You'll be paddling your canoes across the lake-to Boney Island!!" [He says in an ominous voice.]

Chris: "When you get there, you must portage your canoes to the other side of the island. Which, is about a two-hour hike through treacherous dense jungle!" 

Geoff: "We've got a port what?" [He says scratching the back of his head, confused.]

Chris: "Portage.." 

[Geoff is still confused.]

Chris: "Dude, walk with your canoe." [He points and winks at him.]

Geoff: "Ohhh." 

Chris: "When you arrive at the other end of the island, you'll build a rescue fire that will be judged by me! The first team to paddle home and return their canoes to the beach is the winner of invincibility! Move campers move!"

[You all start to run off before Chris calls out to you all.]

Chris: "Oh wait! One more thing I should mention. Legend has it if you take anything off the island, you'll be cursed forever!" [He says that last part in an ominous voice as well.]

[Suddenly you all hear thunder crashing, you assume that it's just Chris's special effects team while everyone else is wide eyed.]

Owen: "Yeah! A cursed island! Whoo!" [He says throwing his arms in the air while everyone just stares at him, he looks around awkwardly and puts his arms back down.]

*Confessional Booth*

(Y/N): "Only someone like Owen can be excited for something like a cursed island, me, I think curses are just crap people say to scare people into not doing something wrong, like 'breaking a mirror is seven years of bad luck!'" [You say wiggling your fingers and saying in a mock spooky tone. You scoff.] "As if!"

Chris: "Now, get in your canoes and let's have some fun!

Owen: "Yes!"

*Confessional Booth*

Cody: "Chris told us to pick a paddle partner, I think it was time for me to show Gwen who a real man is! All I have to do is be alone with her for five minutes, and I know I can woo her with my manly charms. (Y/N)? Pssh, he's got nothing on these muscles!" [He holds up his pretty flabby arm and squeeze's it, winking at the camera.]
