You felt so... Dumb? Naive? You couldn't quiet describe what you were feeling at the moment. You were seated next to so many strangers as they conversed, a warm plate of pie in front of you and everyone acted as if the world wasn't currently ending. They spoke of their AU's being rebuilt and them being able to go back once this all brushes over, but after being with Error for a while, you know that AU's can never be fully restored to what they originally were. They speak like Ink is their guardian, like he hasn't put the whole multiverse at steak just for some dumb game he wants to play.

You felt terrible. You wanted to keep quiet and let the monsters dream of their old lives and how much more wonderful it was there, but also wanted to scream at them about how nothing will ever be the same. You wanted to scream at them that their AU's were gone, Error destroyed them all and it was all Ink's fault. Ink was the one that started all of this, he pushed Error to the point where he felt the need to destroy everything. Ink was the one that let that man loose, he was the one that-!

...

Was this really Ink's fault, or was he just manipulated into this..?

"Y/n? Are you feeling well?" You were brought out of your trance, you were burning a hole into the table you were staring at you guessed. You slowly turned to the person that asked you the question, you head leading before you eyes followed. Once your eyes caught up with the movement of your head, you looked Dream dead in the eyes, he gave you a lopsided smile and his eyes scanned yours. You didn't know how you looked, you never got the chance because you left almost immediately after getting a new outfit.

You blinked a few times before shaking your head, adding a nod at the end. "Yeah, I'm fine, sorry." You quickly apologized, shifting your gaze back over to the plate of cherry pie in front of you. You haven't touched it nor the drink in front of you, you've never eaten food like this when living with Error. You're used to living off water and whatever you can steal in UnderFell, which usually isn't much. To say Errors lack of attention towards you was taking a toll on you body would be a gentle way to put it, he was putting your body under shear torture at this point.

Dream sighed, placing his hands in his lap and giving you a soft smile. "That's a relief! I just thought you were uncomfortable." You gave Dream a glance as he gestured to the people around you. You learned they were from an AU called EpicTale, one that you had no idea existed till now. You wish you never knew these people. "And you barely touched your food." Dream slightly stuttered, gesturing towards you food. You gave him a curious glance, he seemed nervous.

"Yeah, I'm just not that hungry right now, sorry." You said quickly, giving him a slight smile. Dream gulped a little and laughed, you now starting to stand up to leave. Dream quickly ushered you back down to you seat, without touching you of course, and handed you your drink.

"At least take a sip? You must be uh... dehydrated!" Dream stuttered again, he was acting off. He usually was very jumpy and happy, now he seems more scared and worried about you leaving this restaurant. You grabbed the cup gingerly, making Dream sigh in relief a little as he watched you bring the cup to your lips. Before you decided to take a drink, you gave it a little sniff.

It smelt of cinnamon.

You smiled before dragging the cup back down to the table, unfolding the napkin on your lap and standing up fully, placing the napkin on you chair before pushing it in. Dream gave you a panicked look, eyes darting between the food and you. Everyone was staring at you, which made you uncomfortable slightly before you cleared your throat. "I'm going on a walk for a bit, I feel to crowded." You said gently, eyes looking everywhere but Dream. Everyone gave you nods and waves as you walked out of the place, the wind from outside pushing your hair back violently
