The morning wasn't as dreadful as you thought it were to be. Q had woken up around the same time as you had, then again you don't know if he slept at all. He had, somehow, given you some oatmeal and milk for you to gnaw on since you couldn't manage to even try and chew on any solids. The oatmeal still put up a little fight with you as it took turns burning and soothing your tongue, Q said he infused it with monster food so it would have healing properties.
The time you spent eating was quiet, Q was over on another screen in the corner doing something you weren't even bothered to care for. You had finished the bland meal and set the bowl and cup under the large screen Q usually burdened himself at. He had sensed that you were done and stopped what he was doing and appeared in front of you once again, making you jump and back away from him.
Q could only laugh at your jumpiness as he seated himself in a chair in the screen, the whole area he was in seemed futuristic in a sense, as if he was stuck in a lab. He rested his skull on his palm as he watched you fidget and stand uncomfortably in front of him. You found it weird how the skeleton, somewhat, in front of you knew everything about you and you knew nothing of him.
He cleared his throat and dragged your attention back upwards to him, causing him to break into a small smile. "If it's not to much to ask for, can I perform a soul check? I just want to make sure Error didn't do anything um... drastic." You furrowed your brows and cautiously brought your hands up to your chest, protecting the area where your soul would lay. Q waited patiently for your response, before you sighed and brought it out for him to see.
Q gave you a soft smile as you lifted it up higher towards the screen for him to see, letting him examine it. You had also taken a look at your soul and noticed a few blaring differences. "So, you noticed something too?" The voice above you made you jump but you let your head nod in response. Q looked at your soul a little longer, an obvious scowl on his face before he started to question you again. "What do you know about your soul, Y/n?" This question made your stomach churn in a dreadful way. What do you know about your soul?
Bringing it back down and glancing at it, you noticed that it's once teal color had desaturated into a dull evergreen. You pursed your lips before shaking your head, "My soul has changed colors. It used to be a teal color, or sometimes it would flash to a color similar to glaucous. It's never looked like this before. My soul trait was Empathy and at other times Recklessness. I'm sorry that's all I know, maybe Error got the wrong soul..." But he couldn't have, you don't feel any different than how you were before. If anything, you felt the exact same, just a little more immune to the thought of death.
Q sighed above you and swapped which hand he was laying his head upon. "Error did indeed grab the right soul when he went to the celestial realm. He never visits often, so I'm surprised he DID grab the right one." Q laughed at his own comment, before noting your obvious confusion on your face. He cleared his throat and continued on. "You soul had changed, Y/n. It's not often that ones soul does change traits but it's possible. Your's has changed to Wrath. It's sort of a branch off of Kindness and Patients. The wrath you have for whatever is unknown to me, though." You bit on your bottom lip as you stared back at your soul. You knew deep down what you had wrath for, and you know it has been accumulating for a long time.
