okay so boom, hey hiii oh my god

that last chapter was... awkward but hi!! hihihi

so idk if this is good or bad, but ive recently been seeing spiked activity for this book (oddly enough) and its made me ponder hella

ive gotten a LOT of comments abt how terrible ive written y/n here

and before u say "i didnt mean it that way" i know, its a okay brother, it's my fault for writing her like actual booty fart

and ive been doodling for my other books when i thought why not doodle torn y/n

then i realized how CHOPPED i made this mf and how shitty i felt for leaving you guys like i did

i reread this book and... idk how yall read this </3

so, i might.. mIGHT consider rewriting this book

the plot will probably change, maybe it wont, we will see

but here are the

PRIMARY CHANGES I WILL BE REWRITING:

‣ Y/n's character as a whole.
➡ I wrote her really shitty, and basically as a coward, which is not how I wanted to write her. Then I tried to back track, make her stick up for herself, and then I just made it 10x worse.
➡ Yes, she is scared, yes she is lonely and yes she can't stick up for herself that well, but I wrote it so bad that it genuinely haunts me at night.
➡ Yes, she is manipulative, no she doesn't care about the other Sans', yes she is selfish. I wanted to portray these, but I, again, sucked booty fart at it and I want to try again.
➡ Her "character development" was poorly written and too fast paced. She suddenly grew a pair and suddenly was a stuck up asshole, which btw, isn't how she's supposed to be lmao.
➡ Her backstory was sloppily made, and I need to readjust it.
➡ Her main soul trait (current timeline) is Malice, not Wrath. Her old soul trait (previous timeline) was that of Benevolence/Kindness. Main soul color (current timeline) is doo doo brown, NOT teal. Old soul color was green. I got confused on Soul Trait charts and sparked up this bullshit, I don't even know what.
➡ She still has no forced appearance, because she is you, and I don't know what you look like. I want this book to be inclusive, and I felt like I didn't really get that point across
➡ Bye bye fans, hello giant pair of scissors as her weapon.
➡ I want to explore more on how Error really pushed her to the point she is at now. She shouldn't be scared of everything, she should be indifferent and look at it as a challenge. Because Error forced her to be a killing machine, because he knows that if she went back to her previous ways, she would end up falling for the others, NOT him.

‣ Every single Sans in this book
➡ I'm so sorry for the mischaracterization. It was terrible.
➡ Only character I seemed to even get somewhat right, was Ink and Geno. But Geno is a stretch.
➡ I said I was heavily against fannon interpretations, then there I went, frolicking and accidentally making Blue Berry swap oh my god.
➡ A lot of people said that the Yandere Chart seemed off, so I will be trying to fix that as well.
➡ Also gonna try and include the Sans' more better, instead of just focusing on certain ones
➡ The Epic shove into the storyline was hella sloppy and terrible. Me forcing him to be the reason for Y/n's hatred on Dream was actually stupid and I need to clarify that Epic originally was supposed to be a one chapter character. I forced him too hard into the storyline and I am sorry.
➡ Dream and Nightmare's characters are so fucking wrong in this book
➡ Atp, Killer is the only one I managed to nail somewhat on the head. He's sadist and a masochist, but I don't think I highlighted on that well enough.
➡ While Horror isn't a 'gentle' giant, he isn't as harsh or as kind as I wrote him. I fumbled I fear.

‣ Writing style/Chapter pacing.

‣ Fight scenes

‣ Blending original content with premade content (Underverse storyline)

‣ Just making shit make sense because what the helly

so thats all i will say, dont want to spoil too much, but im so sorry for this book and how it cursed ur eyes

that being said, PLEASE dont get ur hopes too far up, im still very much not apart of the undertale fandom as much as i was then

rewritten chapters will be slow, and its going to be brutal

its not that i dont care about this book, if i truly didnt then i wouldn't be back tracking right now and attempting to fix the damage ive caused

its just that i don't care for undertale as much as i did

it still holds a place in my heart, but im just not obsessed with it anymore

that being said, if updates are slow, its because i dont want to force a chapter out

if i force a chapter out, then it will be bad, and that's the opposite of what i want

Q.) How long will these take to come out?
A.) No idea, just keep an eye out, I'll try and announce them.

Q.) What will happen to previous chapters?
A.) I will either be rewriting on TOP of them (aka, deleting the text and throwing down the new chapter. That way the comments and votes will stay, but the content will be changed) or I will post a new chapter.
A.2) You guys pick. Would you prefer me just updating old chapters, or would you prefer something like this..

Q.) Why come back if you're not interested in Undertale anymore?
A.) Because I'm a people pleaser and I feel bad

Q.) Won't this just burn you out more?
A.) Maybe, we will see lmao

Q.) Will this still follow the Underverse Timeline?
A.) Yes. It will. As well as some chapters that stray away from the timeline. That way you can get to see more of these characters.

Q.) How will the relationships change? Does Y/n fall in love? Will there be separate endings?
A.) Relationships will change either drastically or not at all, we'll see as I rewrite. I don't intend for Y/n to fall in love, for most of these are to be one sided relationships with her getting flustered every now and then. There will only be the canon ending, where the timeline resets and you go through everything again. This way, you can keep looping this book, seeing as no one gets Y/n in the end, and she doesn't get her freedom.

Q.) Estimated word count of each chapter?
A.) I want to achieve the same word count as my other books, so 6k - 20k worded chapters. But they might be shorter than that.

Q.) Wdym you doodled Y/n? I thought she doesn't have a canon design?
A.) She doesn't, but that doesn't mean I can't think of her in my own ways, just as you all think of her in your own ways. My version of her might be different than yours, and that's okay, because I write stories for that purpose. You can imagine her however, because she is you, and I can imagine her how I want to, because she is also me if I choose to read this book myself. (She isn't me, but you guys get it)
A.2) That being said, I probably won't post said doodles, because my art is ass, and I don't want people to think I'm forcing appearances.

Q.) Will this book ever get finished, even with the rewritten chapters?
A.) I don't know, I'm sorry.
