Girl Meets The Chronicles Of Cole

"Mia," A voice whispered. "Wake up, darling."

"Hm?" Mia started to wake up a bit unsure of where she was. Her eyes fluttered open and then squinted to adjust to the light that was directly on her. She took in her surroundings and sat up. She wasn't in her bedroom. She was in an abandoned house. It was dusty, cold, and dark. The only light came from the window that was half boarded up. She's currently laying down on the hard wooden floor. "Cole!?" Her eyes widened. "Where the hell am I?"

"My darling! You're finally awake." He smiled crookedly at her. Mia blinked a few times in confusion. The person that is before her looked like Cole, but she knew that he isn't well. There was this dead look in his eyes that scared her. "I'm not your darling. Where the hell are we? What are we even doing here?" She questioned once more.

"We're at our new home! It's a bit of a fixer-upper but it'll be our dream home in no time at all."

Mia looked at him bewildered. "No," She shook her head. "I refuse." She tried standing up. However, she only was able to for a second because she fell back down on the floor. Mia looked down on the floor and there was a chain connected to the ground. Her eyes widened. "I can't believe you chained me," She muttered. Suddenly everything her friends were so vague about before made sense. "Sorry, darling. You'll be here with me till death does us part." Cole smirked evilly.

Meanwhile at the Matthews Residence. . .

"Where is she?" Farkle demanded storming into Cory and Topanga's living room. His father walked in right behind him and closed the door. He had grown fond of his son's girlfriend. He knew that it was important either way that she returned safely. There in the living room was Cory, Topanga, Eric, Josh, Rebekah, Alan, Amy, Shawn, and Katie. They all seemed stressed out. Maya, Lucas, Zay, Amara, Joseph, Francesca, Thor, Nikki, and Nia were in the living room as well. Auggie, Blake, and Alex were in Auggie's bedroom playing while everyone else is talking.

"We called the police. We have the high school cheer team putting up posters and flyers of her. There's no way they could have gone far," Cory told Farkle.

"Until then everyone can go on a lookout. Stay in groups so you all will be safe. Topanga and Katie you guys go to the bakery. Perhaps she escaped and will run there," Shawn said.

"Amy and Alan you guys will stay here with the children," Topanga added. The two nodded in agreement. It's been nearly 24 hours since they all saw Mia. They had just assumed she was with someone else. She's been one popular girl with rarely ever a time to be by herself. However, when Eric called her the phone said it was disconnected. He talked to everyone. Her friends and her family. They all said she wasn't with them.

"Her school is on alert so the teachers that are still there even the custodians and lunch ladies will be on alert looking inside of the school and in the nearby neighborhoods," Eric told everyone after he hung up his phone.

"Everyone split into groups of 3 or 4. We'll be out looking for her. Just stay together and remember to answer your phones. We don't need anyone else to go missing," Rebekah pitched in as she wrapped her arm around Eric's torso. She knew that he was worried and any parent would be. They all hoped that Mia would return safely.

They knew that Cole had taken her. They just don't know he managed to get her. He left a letter saying that she'll have a happier life with him and to forget about her. "Remember to call the cops and us after if there's an emergency!" Katie told them.

"Don't do anything dangerous, you guys. Mia missing is enough. We don't want to risk any more of you," Amy said as she hugged Alan. The whole time everyone was talking and planning Farkle felt his world crumbling apart. "Come on, buddy. We'll tell you everything once we're outside." Lucas told Farkle. Zay nodded in agreement. Together everyone left the apartment and split ways to go look for Mia. 

A/N hey everyone it's Lexie. I realized how long it has been since I updated this book. I can only say how sorry I am. My divorced parents are just insane and my senior year of high school has been chaotic but my goal is to graduate on time and I am! I'm graduating on June 1st! I'll be doing my best to continue updating more frequently again. Especially now that I'll have time since my classes are done. I hope you all are staying safe and doing well!
