Later that night, after the bash. Mia and Maya walked Riley home. Then Mia walked Maya home because her apartment was first. When Mia entered her apartment, she saw Eric and Alexander asleep on the couch. She giggled quietly and took a picture of them. Alexander has his biological mother's dirty blonde hair, but he has Mia's eyes. They got it from Thomas, their biological dad. Mia set the picture as her home screen on her phone. She picked up Alexander gently and carried him to her bed. They were sharing a room till they officially move into their new home.
Alexander stirred slightly but kept on sleeping. Mia took off his shoes and tried getting him more comfortable. He snuggled under the blankets, with a smile on his face. Mia grinned, walking back to the family room. She put a blanket over Eric and turned off the lights. Heading over to the bathroom, she looked at herself in the mirror.
She changed out of her Disney Princess Mulan costume. The gang went as their favorite Disney prince or princess. Riley was Belle, Lucas was the beast after he broke the curse. Maya was Repunzel. Zay went as Prince Naveen from Princess and The Frog. Farkle was wearing armor as Chang wore in the movie Mulan.
Mia put on one of Zays shirts he left there from their last sleepovers a while ago. She would have put on Farkles shirt, but Mia was upset about what happened earlier. Putting on her black spandex, she was almost ready for bed. Quickly brushing her teeth, she looked at herself one last time. Her eyes were slightly red and pink in color. Heading to the front door to make sure it is locked. Mia noticed Eric is not on the couch. Checking his bedroom, he was sleeping in a weird position. His head is where his feet should be. His feet are against the headboard.
His body turned a little bit. Small, growling noises came from his mouth. Mia just shook her head with a soft smile. She shut his bedroom door and left back to the living room. Mia realized that her phone on the kitchen counter. Her lips curved into a slight smile when she saw Farkle facetime her. She quickly recalled what happened earlier.
Mia was walking out of the haunted house with Lucas and Maya. The three were laughing at the cheesy actors inside.
"The only thing that got me was the chainsaw noises at the end," Mia admitted.
"Yeah, that clown who held the chainsaw." Maya agreed.
"Can you get off my back now?" Lucas asked Mia. They approached Riley, Farkle, and Zay. "Yeah, sorry," Mia grinned, jumping off his back. She stood next to Farkle and held his hand. Riley walked over to Lucas, holding onto his arm.
"How was the haunted house?" Zay asked.
"The funniest thing ever!" Lucas laughed.
"You guys would have been laughing with us," Mia added with a giggle.
"Total cringe-fest," Maya answered.
"What should we do now?" Farkle asked.
"Corn maze?" Zay suggested.
They all agreed and headed over to the maze. Waiting in line, they were getting excited.
"I have a ten o'clock curfew just for tonight Riley grinned. "Mine's eleven," Lucas responded.
"Mine is eleven-thirty." Zay raised his eyebrows at Lucas.
"Folks aren't home. I don't have one," Farkle told everyone. Mia squeezed his hand, comforting him.
"Still don't have a curfew." Mia and Maya said in sync. They high-fived each other.
"Uncle Eric doesn't give you a curfew?" Riley asked, shocked.
