Allyson Bluestone; a young woman that is determined to prove mysterious creatures that they exist...
It felt like a wild ride during the teleportation. I saw purple blobs and runes flying one by one, circling around us. Flashing lights scrambled inside my head, causing me to stumble into something thick. It was a tree root.
"You okay, Allyson?" I felt Rachel placing a comforting hand at my back.
Of course I'm not okay.
I stood up as I tried to regain my composure. My head feels like cotton wool - dizziness shrouds my mind while confusion steps in. Mr. Charles was right, there was indeed a hecking recoil!
"For first-timers, that was a negative effect of transferring a living being out of that portal," Mr. Charles headed north as he picks up his hat covered in dirt in a nearby tree - a hint of irritation in his face indicating he didn't like the ride as well.
"I think I'm fine now," I reassured Rachel as she assisted me of sitting in a nearby rock. After that, she stood up and began roaming around the area.
"Alright, seems we landed in the North America!" Rachel shouts causing the birds flying away. But seriously, we're suddenly in North America?
Rachel opened a backpack, which I didn't notice, and pulled out a map.
"Were in the Coastal Plains of North America, it looks a bit far. We need to hitch a ride," she suggested and pulled something from her pockets.
Mr. Charles then pulled one of those unusual marble thingies from his pocket. Rachel gave me some of it too.

It was round and had a different spiral of colors embedded on its shell. It almost looked like a small jawbreaker.
"Let me guess. Are we gonna eat it?" Despite my curiosity, I'm a bit hesitant to swallow these things. I was about to put three in my mouth when Rachel stopped me. "You only need one, haha. It's like a candy. It makes us hide our identities from humans," she explained as she took the other two.
A kind of candy that would let Dixinian officers hide their identities. At this point I'm not surprised over its effects with all the things I saw. I wondered who thought of these ideas.
I plop one in my mouth; at first, it tasted minty and sweet. I was sure something would happen if I ate it, but nothing bizarre happened.
"Let's head to Mt. Mitchell," Rachel led the way out of the forest and proceeded to find a nearby road.
The case we're investigating is about the strange behavior in Mt. Mitchell... Despite its high peak, few residents and local rangers. There seems to be a disturbance.
