[Third Person's POV]

One thing about Elilune is the sunlight. The amount of sunlight is less than most worlds, making the entire place in moody gloom. Despite its sullen state, these clouds also prevent the intense burning of skin against all of its inhabitants, the Enigms.

The result of the environment causing large concentrations of unusable Dixie dusts to accumulate and affect all the organisms that live here.

These concentrations elevate the evolution, causing heightened regeneration. However, some believed that the cost of this effect is an undying malice against all races.

[Inside the Walker's Mansion]

Allyson and Kleid followed the butler into the living room. Next to it is the large span of stairs leading to the second floor.

Both of the Dixinians were quiet, with concern inscribed in their faces, relishing the fact that they are trapped alongside the vampires inside.

Allyson is rather in awe when they reach the living room—furnished with gold-laced furnitures and exquisite paintings. The living room flaunts itself in such a class that the majority of colors—red, gold, brown, and black—unified to form designs.

"Damn. This place is more grand than the fancy hotels I saw on the internet," Allyson spoke under her breath.

Kleid watched and saw a large wooden clock, its pendulum swinging, temporarily taking the young man's attention.

"Please have a seat. Young Master will see you two soon." Dan excused himself and politely walked out of the living room.

Allyson scanned the entire place; she felt a slight worry about to accidentally damaging any object, or else she'll have to pay a huge price. Kleid stopped and watched through the window, looking at Chills, sitting outside staring at them from below. With just a gesture of Kleid's hand, the wolf left and walked into the right side of the mansion.

He then sat on the sofa next to Allyson. The young woman was curious to see and tried to peek in the expensive knick-knack, had a structure that looked like a large ashtray.

"Should we atleast ask them about the barrier outside?" Kleid asks, stopping the young woman from bothering the object.

"Well, it's not like we have a choice. We could at least help them lift the spell," Allyson replied.

"Yeah. What's bothering me more is that something sinister is happening in this place," Kleid answered.

"I just talked to Chills outside to be on guard; I get the feeling someone is lurking outside."

Their conversation was interrupted when another voice spoke next to them.

"So, it's true then?"

It was a little girl on the sofa, sitting in front of them. Her eyes were big, red, and reminiscent of a ruby. Her slight grayish-red hair was tied and adorned with a small flower hat. She held a book in her hand, resting on her lavish dress.

"True, what?" Allyson asked her.

"That werewolves have a distinct relationship towards their lesser evolutionary species," she smiled sweetly, with her fangs poking out— implying she was a vampire.

"I'm Layla!" She stood up and presented herself. She then grabbed Allyson's hand and took a closer look on it.

"You see, I've been fascinated about studying the other specias. I can see that you're a peculiar, and a half-blooded! Even better!"
