Third Person's POV

[A week later. Veopolis, Perennial Neverrue]

The Perennial Neverrue is a place for those who are sent for committing crimes, broken rules, and false promises. It's a cage where Specias are kept for years until the authority of their origin's government would decide their final sentence.

It's a place where the most vile Specias are contained and heavily monitored by the Dixinian Corps.

A guard on duty quickly called in his superiors after witnessing a behavior from a specific prisoner - explaining from what he had heard from this convict, details were utterly suspicious, and as a result, more guards were called to assess the situation...

"Prisoner F-2895-D-XII. Name: Tamara Blaine. Code name: ARACH," a guard read out loud from her file, his gaze returning back to the chained woman across the room.

For the past 10 minutes, she has been muttering words by herself. Muttering, whispering, and chanting... The guards behind the other screen observed with a prepared conclusion in their minds. A spell. They were aware she was attempting to cast a spell.

But spells aren't made to work under a high-security prison that holds thousands of individuals, hailing from different worlds. Surely it wouldn't.

"W-what's going to happen if she does complete the chant?" A rookie from guard duty asks, his fingers trembling, staring at Arach who's been continuously shrouded in mutter.

"Relax. Her cell has a huge barrier that prevents any magic from coming out; even lethal curses wouldn't work easily," another guard reassured, which made their superior scoff from the noise - eventually he pushed a button to converse with Arach from the speakers.

"Whatever you are plotting will never work. Those cuffs in your feet won't budge, even if you crush them with brute force."

"The Perennial Neverrue has always been one of the last stops the Phantoms will reach."

The voice was laced with threat and the pry of digging a hopeless feeling through Arach's thick skull, but she wasn't bothered even a bit. Cautious as they were, the guards decided to call a superior. "The Warden? Isn't it bothersome to call such a busy guy?" the concerned guard from earlier exclaimed.

Little do they know, the Warden had already entered the hallway, leading up towards Arach's cell. The guards quickly give a salute as the man steps out of the elevator.

*Footsteps*

(Is that the warden? He's an odd-looking fellow), a guard thought to himself.
