[Third Person's POV]

"A ritual?"

Allyson asked, her hands trembling. A sudden reveal of a mysterious circle— perhaps something sinister is at stake? Kleid frowned, his eyes following the ridges of the magic circle glowing and pulsing every few seconds.

"There's no mistaking it. It's the same circle..."

He crouched down and proceeded to inspect. Chills leaned closer to his face, concerned by his reaction. Kleid gave a soft smile, but behind his eyes was the feeling of dread... Sadness... the tragedy

...

A younger Kleid was strolling in the forest, carrying nothing but a sturdy branch in his left hand. The same red scarf wrapped around his neck sways with each passing breeze. He glanced and then spotted someone from a distance.

"Who's there?"

The man asked. He wore a dark robe and was gripping a large staff, decorated with an unusual shape and etched with bright stones.

He stared at the distance, hoping he would spot a movement of the bushes where the young beastfolk was hiding. Instead of being wary from the strange man, he was curious as to what reason he entered the forest of Rekoda Ragis.

Assured and relieved, the man kneeled-he laid his palm on the ground, and a strange light appeared. The young beastfolk couldn't help but look even closer. That was when he was spotted by the same man standing behind his back.

"A beastfolk child?"

The man points his staff a few inches away from meeting Kleid's nose. He then gave a sigh and helped the boy stand up.

"Sorry. I must've frightened you," he apologized. Kleid shook his head.

The boy was just surprised.

"I'm Wahl, an adventurer

"I'm Wahl, an adventurer. You must be one of the tribes living in this dense forest."

He smiles, looking at Kleid. The man mistook him for a mute since the kid himself was just staring. Kleid then leaned closer to the light the stranger had cast upon.

"Oh."

"Easy there, young beastfolk. Don't get too close," he is approached, stopping the interference.

"This is a magic circle."

He pointed at the purplish light slowly forming a circular symbol, pulsing every few seconds.

Kleid backed off a bit, but the man noticed it.

"It's not dangerous."

He smiles again and then touched the ground and another magic circle formed. With a quick chant. A small flower popped out of the circle. Kleid was amazed.
