"That's it?" Jacob asks as he drops a box. "I think so... I need to go to Target shopping for dishes and some food but all the furniture is set up and yeah.. everything's good." I smile at Jacob.

"Okay man... sad to see you go especially 30 minutes away from my house." He chuckles. "Yeah but I'm also walking distance from the gym." I shrug.

"That's true.. which means more gym time for you." Jacob says. "Not like I'm doing anything else.." I say quietly. "Good! I expect you at the gym tomorrow 5am." He grins while I groan with annoyance. "Bro it's Sunday tomorrow." I complain, I love boxing but I hate waking up early. "I don't care." He says in a high pitched voice then promptly walks out my door.

I laugh and decide to FaceTime my nana. "Hi Archie! You all settled in?" She asks smiling into the camera. "Yep, I just have to run to the store to grab some things then I'm moved it." I say. "Great! Let me see it." I give a quick tour of my 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment and she sighs. "Archer are you sure you can't stay with Jacob." She says with an uneasy look on her face.

"No Nana, I don't want to intrude and it's time I learn some responsibility." I sigh as I sit on my couch. "Okay, just please be responsible and safe." I can tell she doesn't want me living here. "Of course Nana. I can take care of myself." I smile to myself. We talk about other things for a bit until she had to hang up and I start putting my clothes away in my closet It was disrupted by a call from my dad. "I thought you never wanted to talk to me again?" I say, my voice is laced with venom. "Actually thanks for reminding me to block your number."

"Archer please... it's been long enough please just come home." He actually sounds sound. "No dad. I doubt that you actually miss me, you just want your personal punching bag back." I say sitting on my bed. "Please Arch.. I really do miss you. You're all the I have from Catherine and now you're leaving too." He rambles with an odd tone of voice and he slightly hiccups. "Are you drunk?" I ask, shocked at him being drunk. "Buzzed. Max and Sophia went to the beach today with her sister."

"We'll I can't come home even if I wanted to." I huff and look around my apartment, I should really get some wall art this place is boring.
"Why? Where are you." He asks confused. "I bought my own apartment." I say kind of smugly. "Really? Where?" He sounds like he's in disbelief... yeah that's right dad I can get my own things without you.

"Eastwood.." I mumble and I hear him groan. "Archer.. that place isn't safe." he says in a quiet tone. "I know how to defend myself, Connor. As a matter of fact, I just moved up to level 2 in boxing. Most people don't move up until 3 months and it's been 2 weeks AND I won my first match on Wednesday." I boast in hopes that he'll get jealous and leave me alone.
