Six butterflies

~The next day – During the morning~

~Y/N POV~

I've sleeped well tonight, even tho I went to bed late. That night was magical, unreal. Butterflies are floating around me as I walk to the dinning room. Kuina is already there, leaning against a table. I join her.

Y/N : Hi Kuina.

Kuina : Hi.

She smiles at my sight and hands me some brioche. I gladly take it.

Kuina : How are you ? I haven't seen you yesterday night.

I take a bite of my food.

Y/N : I'm fine, I was with Chishiya yesterday.

Kuina raises an eyebrow, intrigued. She takes her fake cigarette out of her mouth to take a bite of brioche.

Kuina : Really ?

I nod, focused on my meal. Everything feels a bit far away for me, it's like I'm still dreaming.

Kuina : What did you guys do ?

I take a moment to think. Chishiya probably doesn't want me to talk about where we went, even to Kuina. Plus, someone could hear us. I'll just keep that part of the story for myself.

Y/N : You know, just hanging out. We took some stuff to eat too.

Kuina grins, raising her eyebrows. She seems to believe me tho.

Kuina : He did that ? How weird.

I shrug. I agree with her, he doesn't act this way usually.

Y/N : I know right ?

She takes two drinks on the counter and hands me one.

Kuina : How about we go sit next to the pool to talk about it ?

I smile and grab the glass. She takes my arm as we both walk to the door, making a toast.

Y/N : How could I refuse such a proposal ?

Kuina chuckles. We both get out of the hotel, walking in the direction of the pool. Suddently, a thrill runs through my whole body. I notice someone leaning against the wall, right next to us.

Niragi : Look at what we've got here.

Kuina and I stop right away, frozen in place. When Niragi calls you, it's usually never something good. Kuina turns around to face him. I remain hooked at her arm, mute.

Kuina : What ?

Niragi walks closer to us, his weapon resting on his shoulder, patiently waiting for the time when it'll shoot someone.

Niragi : Isn't that the body guard and the girlfriend of Chishiya ?

Kuina sighs loudly, rolling eyes. I tighten my embrace around her arm. Things won't go well, I fear. Niragi loves to annoy us because we're friends with Chishiya, some stupid way to annoy him at the same time. And with what he saw last night, it could get worst very quickly.

Y/N : Let it go, Kuina. We should find somewhere to sit.

She nods, making a step backward. Niragi chuckles, a horribly long and disturbing chuckle.

Niragi : You, how was your little date in the city last night ?

Kuina's eyes widden as she slowly turns to face me. I can distinguish sparks of surprise and fear vibrating inside them. She loudly whispers.
