There's a dazzling blue sea around me
and it sparkles in the daylight
while illuminating in the moonlight.
People say there is another world here and I agree.
Maps no longer do me any good
and my eyes only see the ocean,
so my crew and I set into motion
a plan to get this new place.
The waves roll
and ship sways
and there are times the whole crew prays
that we make it to safety.
Then we see it!
Oh, gracious day, we find land!
Our lifeboats hurry to the sand
and we cheer our praises to the New World.
