(Dee's POV)
Imagine the annoyance one had to face when the same song blasts from everyone's phones for days and days.
"Have you listened to this?"
"Check out this group!"
"You like rock, right? Have you heard of-"
This is all Dee would hear, people would assume that this band was to his taste simply because of the way he dressed.
The band was...ok, at best. It wasn't necessarily something that he listened to, as his preference were more of metal. But the more he'd listen someone play one of their songs, the more annoyed he'd get. They were very much overrated in his opinion.
Today was no different, some random guy from his class, a former client of his, has approached him to ask for his opinion about their debut song, "how's it feel to be dead?"
"For the last time, I don't care about the..whatever the fuck they're called. I'm not into them, now unless you're here for business, I suggest you go back to your chair before you get us both in trouble."
"Okay, sorry."
Dee let out a small sigh, running his hand across his head. He needed to chill, he wasn't one to snap at others or care for something as little as this. At least he could finally have some peace and quiet once the class starts.
"Hey, Dee! I don't know if you heard of them, but..."
It's like he could rip his fucking hair out right now.
Of course, Dee knew better than to do something like that, and although these questions were getting on his nerves, he managed to keep an almost straight face.
Before he could reply, he could hear the door slam right open. His teacher has finally arrived, just in time as well.
Whoever had bothered him hurried along to their desk, not wanting to get called out by the teacher.
Dee noticed a student, one he couldn't recognize, nor did he really care for, standing right beside his teacher. He could hear the mumbles of his classmates around him, but this time they seemed to be wondering about the new person.
"Alright, hurry up, I don't have all day, just go introduce yourself."
He watched as they marched to the front of the classroom. He laid his head on his hand, although normally he didn't care much, he couldn't help but be curious as well.
The new person wore almost all black, except for a white belt. They wore a slipknot band shirt, black ripped jeans, and long platform boots, similar to his. They had a huge grin on their face, though Dee could tell they were nervous. Who wouldn't? Coming in the middle of the year to a new school must be pretty tough.
The new student cleared their throat, finally the classroom fell into silence. With a very awkward wave, they finally spoke.
"Hey everyone, I'm (Y/N) (L/N)"
