  The vegetables and fried chicken was the last to be prepared, I opened the front door just has Pablo drove up with his woman and children which I taught also. Charmaine hugged me as we greeted, then she helped to placed some chairs and tables he unloaded from his truck. He loved his truck and they constantly teased him about it. I spread a beautiful cloth Ms. Odette gave me on the main table and we began to set it up.

  Ms Odette and Gwen were bringing the cake and a few other things, the others begin to arrive and Alec and their other friends came with music equipment. They were a noisy bunch, Rafique wore the shirt I gave him for his birthday gift and I felt pleased that he did, it looked even better on him than I thought it would. His mother and Gwen came with a lovely cake and we started the party by joining hands and praying.

  Alec played some music which was hardly done these days, while my mother and Giselle helped to serve the goat soup. The dish washing table that was set up at the back begin to pile up, Sophie who worked on the poultry farm begin to wash them up. Most of the cups, plates and bowls belongs to Ms Odette.

  A few of the guys brought presents and made well meaning speeches as they wished him well, he thanked them respectfully and then cut his cake with his neice who would be celebrating her birthday the following week. I served the dinner which was much appreciated, Gwen helped my mother and Sophie to carry out the plates of food on fancy wooden trays, provided that had been provided by Ms Odette.

  We did a little dancing and talked enjoying the vibe, it's been a while since we had anything like this. The children were excited for the music and the abundant food. Later that night when the party was over, Rafique opened his presents. His mother gave him a beautiful dinner ware set and a hand made postcard, he did not read out what was written in it. His sister gave him a jacket and his other gifts contained lovely things like socks, shorts, marinas and t-shirts.

  I woke up in the early morning and went up to the loft to finish sleep, I did not want him waking me up with his dick. When I finally got up at half past ten, I took care of my hygiene then went to the kitchen to finish tidying up. I drank some tea and ate a piece of his birthday cake, An half of strawberry cheesecake was still in the fridge untouched, I longed for a slice but I wasn't going to ask him until he offered me as tempting as it was.

  I put the small portions of left overs in covered dishes and put them into the fridge, I wasn't planning on cooking today then washed and packed Ms Odette's things so they could be returned to her.

Giselle waved from the greenhouse coming to me. "Good morning, do you want any help?" She asked cheerfully.

"Oh thank you so much, but I'm already finished," I replied.

We moved the huge table her fiancé had built and placed it near the chicken coop. "The party was really fun yesterday," she commented.

  "It sure was. I haven't had anything like that before," I told her.

"Me neither life has always been so hard, I told Buchanan last night that somethings truly happened for a reason," she said sounding emotional.

  "I can not agree with you more," I said calmly.

"I'm going to return Ms Odette's things and come back," I told her.

  "Ok see you later," she said and I locked up the house and drove over to Ms Odette.

  Pablo's truck was in the driveway unloading chicken feed when I returned. "Hey lady, your man says I'm entitled to a large glass of cool drinks for my hard work," Pablo says bluntly.
