Doctor x Rose

Falling

AN:This will mainly be from Ten's POV and a bit of Rose's POV

Ten's POV

We were running. Running as always, Rose's hand was in mine as we ran back to the TARDIS. "Doctah, what is that thing?" She asks, looking back at the thing that's chasing us. "It's a Wisp Heap, Rose, it'll freeze us to death."

We keep running until we find the spot where I landed the TARDIS, she's gone. Where's the TARDIS? keeps replaying in my head, I know I landed her here. Suddenly I hear her materializing behind us and somewhat far away... I spin around and in a mad dash I spot the TARDIS, Rose following me, my beautiful pink and yellow human. I spot the TARIDS and turn to Rose. "I have good news and bad news Rose. Good news I know where the TARDIS is now-" She opens her mouth to speak but I place my finger on her lips. I remember feeling those lips on my own, both times she wasn't herself. First, as the Bad Wolf in my Ninth regeneration and the second she had Cassandra inside her head. I shivered at the thought of kissing Cassandra. "Doctor." She says but it sounds muffled which snaps me out of thought and I look at her, continuing what I was saying.

"Ah, yes. The bad news is we have to go around the Wisp to get to the TARDIS. But don't worry, I think I saw an alley we can cut through." I remove my finger from her lips.

Rose's POV

He removed his finger from my lips and yet I could still feel it there. The Doctor pointed to where the TARDIS was, we joined hands again and started running. I could feel the temperature dropping, warning me that we were getting close to the Wisp Heap. We made a sharp turn into the alley way. We came to a dead end, "Bloody hell." I hear the Doctor say under his breath. Looking around I spot a ladder -across the alley- on a fire escape that we can use to climb onto the roof. "Doctor look." I say nodding my head towards the ladder.

"You are brilliant! Allons-y Rose Tyler." He exclaims with a smile. I smile in return and we take off towards the ladder, our hands find each other again.

"Ladies first." The Doctor says, once we reach the ladder. I start climbing, I'm about half way up the ladder when I feel it move and glance over my shoulder to see the Doctor climbing while looking at my bum, he sees me watching and looks down cursing in Gallifreyan. I keep climbing, smiling to myself. The Doctor was looking at my bum. I finally reach the top of the ladder and push myself atop the building, I notice that there are zeppelins scattered across the sky. My breath catches, knowing of only one place that has zeppelins and it was the parallel world where my father was still alive and quite wealthy. But we weren't in the parallel world, right? "Breathe, Rose."I hear the Doctor say, I turn to look at him and let out a breath not realizing that I was holding it in.

"Doctor, there are zeppelins."

"Yes, Rose I see that, I know what you're thinking and no we aren't in the parallel world." He says. I feel relief wash over me. He looks around and spots the TARDIS, it's at least 50 rooftops away. My heart drops to my feet. "Blimey." I say to myself. "Well Rose, would you like to go rooftop hopping?" He asks. "Not really Doctor, I'm rather knackered from all our running. I'm going to need a mo." I tell him, sitting on the rooftop and he comes over and joins me taking his trench coat off and laying it down like when we went to New New York at New Earth.

About ten minutes later, I get up. I look down at the Doctor and see that he is sleeping. Wow, he must've been tired. I should let him sleep for a little while. Then suddenly I feel the temperature dropping. I get down on my knees and start shaking the Doctor gently " Doctor" I whisper. "Doctor" I say a little louder shaking him a little harder. I feel him stir.

Doctor's POV

I feel Rose shaking me and hear her saying my name. I open my eyes, not meaning to fall asleep. "Doctor, it's getting really cold." I sit up looking at her, she's got her arms wrapped around herself. "Here-" I say. "Have my coat."

"Won't you be cold though?"She asks, I can see the worry in her eyes. it brings me joy knowing she worries about me. "Nah, I'll be fine, Time Lord bonus." I can tell she is still worried.

Rose's POV

I'm still worried the Wisp will freeze him, I just can't loose my Doctor. I love him but I haven't told him, in fear of rejection. I spot a zeppelin with a rope hanging down coming our way and head towards the location of the TARDIS. I hand him his coat, the temperature has gone back to normal. I start running across to the side of the rooftop to where the rope is hanging, trying to figure out if I can make the jump. I can. "ROSE?" I hear the Doctor shout over the zeppelin. I start running along the rooftop on the side where the rope is dangling. I hear the Doctor running after me. I finally reach the end of the rooftop just as the zeppelin appears in front of me.

I jump, hoping I'll make it.

Doctor's POV

She's mad! But that's part of why I love her, I haven't told her though in fear of rejection and she's human, I don't know what I would do if I lost her. But then again anybody remotely interesting is mad. I see her running along the rooftop, I run after her only a few paces behind and I see her jump and the zeppelin starts rising. I can tell she is unsure of if she'll make the jump which scares me senseless, I can't lose my Rose. She makes the jump and seconds later I'm jumping too. I make the jump but I don't wrap my arms around the rope, I've wrapped my arms around Rose's stomach with my hands on her shirt, but in trying to move I made her shirt rise and my face is right in between her breasts. I can feel my face turning a deep red. My legs are wrapped around the rope trying to keep us from falling. I peak my eyes up to see if Rose sees me blushing but she doesn't she is looking to the side. She looks scared out of her wits. Her legs are wrapped around my torso trying to hold on for life. And I could feel the heat in my face and my hearts thumping violently I wondered if Rose could hear it, then I heard her heart. I felt her legs loosen up. I figured she must've calmed down and realized where I was stuck. Her heart had slowed when her legs loosened but it picked right back up even faster. I dared to sneak a quick peek and she was as red as I felt I was.
