Alice
Sometimes you just have those mornings where you lay in bed and think about the events of the night before. For me, it was a flood of love and desire as I recount our first time.
I turn around in Jazz's arms and smile when he unconsciously wraps them tighter around me. I glide my fingertips lightly over the army tattoo on his bicep which had his unit number and the years he served.
He had gotten it after he fully covered from his minefield injuries a few years back.
My thoughts once again shift to last night. We had made love multiple times over the remainder of the day since we arrived, each time becoming an entirely new experience.
A pair of lips press against my forehead and I look up.
"Hello love." Jasper says with a smile.
"Hi." I say softly.
"What's goin' on in that pretty little head of yours." He asks.
"I was thinking about last night." I blush.
He laughs and cups my face. "I don't blame you. Last night was—-"
"Incredible?" I suggest.
"Yes, incredible. In every way."
"Happy to hear that." I snake my arms around his neck as he leans in to kiss me again.
"I married the most beautiful woman in the world." He leaves a trail of somewhat sloppy kisses from the corner of my mouth down to my chest, where he spends a good amount of time fondling, kissing, and lightly sucking, then continues his trail down to the insides of my thighs.
"Jazz..." I pant heavily and I gasp at the throbbing feeling he leaves behind with every touch.
His head sticks up and his hair is a beautiful mess of sweaty, tangled curls and his lips are red and swollen and so perfectly kissable. "Yes Alice?" He asks sweetly.
"I love you."
"Love you too."

Eventually we make it out of bed, and soon I find myself showered, dressed, plus my hair and makeup done, and in the passenger seat of the pickup truck we rented.
"So, are you going to tell me where we're going?" I lace our fingers together.
"Out to eat. There's a little diner downtown me and Rose went to all the time as kids."
"Good, cause you owe me a little something for when you tore the back of my dress. Which by the way mister, you're gonna help me fix."
"Yes ma'am." Jasper gives me a cheeky smile.
The ride passes by in silence until I look over to see his eyebrows furrowed and his lips slightly pouted.
"Jazz, what's wrong?"
"I didn't hurt you at all earlier, did I?"
"No babe, of course not. I'm perfectly fine. You don't have to worry so much."
"I can't help it. Worry is my middle name, y'know."
"Your middle name is Grayson, you dork."
He pecks my lips at a red light. "Shut up." He says jokingly.
"Love you!" I sing.
"I love you too."
We make it to the diner and I take the opportunity to show off my outfit.
I take off my cardigan to reveal a lacy, low cut and slightly little number of a romper paired with a fedora and 4 inch heeled cowboy boots.
"Baby," he growls lowly. "are you trying to make me rip that right off you?"
"Not here in public, but when we get somewhere secluded, you can. Maybe in the bed of the truck? I went commando, so it'll be easier for you."
His eyes darken a bit and he grins.
Boy was I in trouble later.

After a day of sightseeing, more food and him showing me around, we drive back to the ranch we were renting, and after parking a ways from the house, Jazz makes good of his promise and makes unflagging love to me right in the bed of the truck.
We walk back to the house, unclothed and carefree and stopping every once in a while to explore each other's bodies.
He surprises me inside with a bubble bath, and after a bit of begging, he sits on the floor next to the tub, a towel draped across his legs.
"Thank you." I sigh contently.
"For what?"
"For today."
"You deserve only the best, my love."
I flick bubbles at him and he laughs.
"You're so cheesy, Jasper Whitlock-Hale." I roll my eyes.
"You know you love it, Alice Whitlock-Hale." My stomach erupts into butterflies and he leans over the rim of the tub to kiss me.
"Yeah, I do." I sigh in contentment once more.
After a few amusing failed attempts to pull him in, he slides in behind me. Our slick bodies sets something off and we make love for the final time for the night until the water turns cold.
We lay in bed much later, curled up together and completely blissed out. I trace my fingers across the scars on his stomach as I bury my face in his chest.
"You're beautiful, darlin'." He whispers as he wraps his arms around me protectively.
"Thank you." I murmur.
"Get some sleep, Alice." He kisses my head.
"G'night Jazz, I love you."
"I know baby. I know."
