All of a sudden, a pounding pain erupted in my head, making me stumble and fall over. The pain was so unbearable to the point black dots clouded my vision, making my eyes close slowly. I heard Newt and Chuck yell things at me. "Catlin! Are you okay?!" Newt asked.

"What happened to her?!" Chuck's worried and scared voice asked.

"JEFF, CLINT, WE NEED HELP!!" Newt yelled, I felt myself being lifted and carried somewhere, that's when I couldn't see or hear anything and I blacked out.

Until, I heard different voices...

"What's his name mommy?" A young girl asked her mom as she entered the door, holding a baby in a blue blanket, a man following her.

"His name is Chuck, sweetie." The woman answered.

"His name starts with a 'c' like mine!"

"Yes, my beautiful daughter, Catlin, and handsome son, Chuck. The most precious people in my life along with my husband, of course." The man and woman chuckled as they kissed and walked over to the couch, the little four year old girl sitting in the man's lap as the family cuddled together, looking at the newborn baby.

My eyes shot open, my body sprang up as I took a large breath. I was in a room with a lot of beds and the same girl I came up with in the Box on a bed to the right of me. Then, a guy came up to me, a bright smile planted on his face. "Hey, I'm Jeff, what's your name?"

"I need to see Chuck and Newt." I ordered, ignoring his introduction.

"Well, you seem to be fine, so, I'll go tell them to come here."

"Can I get up?"

"Yes."

"Then tell them to meet me near the Deadheads." I blankly said, swinging my legs over the bed and walking out of the little hut. Before I left I heard Jeff say something,

"Girls are weird."

When I was walking through the forest, I started singing a song, I don't know which one, but it just came across my mind.

I'm standing on a bridge
I'm waiting in the dark
I thought that you'd be here by now
There's nothing but the rain
No footsteps on the ground
I'm listening but there's no sound

Isn't anyone trying to find me?
Won't somebody come take me home?

It's a damn cold night
Trying to figure out this life
Won't you take me by the hand?
Take me somewhere new I don't know who you are
But I... I'm with you I'm with you

I'm looking for a place
I'm searching for a face
Is anybody here I know
'Cause nothing's going right
And everything's a mess
And no one likes to be alone

Isn't anyone trying to find me?
Won't somebody come take me ho-

I was interruppted by a snapping sound, I spun around to find Newt standing there. "O-Oh, I didn't know y-you were there." I say, embaressed that he heard me, his face was in complete shock.

"N-No, it's fine. You're an amazing singer." He complimented, looking at me, a slight tint of pink on his cheeks. I looked down, my face as red as a tomato. "How do you remember those words?"

"Well, songs are the only thing I can remember." I respond, then I heard footsteps, we look over to see Chuck. "Chuck." I whisper, tears in my eyes as I remember my memory.

"Jeff said to come here so.... why are we here?" He asked akwardly.

"Why did you pass out?" Newt asked, focused on me.

"I-I had a... memory." I admitted, they both looked shocked.

"About what?" Chuck asked.

"About... you."

"What happened in the memory?" Newt asked, I sat down on the ground, burying my head in my hands.

"It was me... I looked about three, or four, and a woman and man came in the doorway. The woman was holding a.... baby. They said his name was Chuck. And the girls name was Catlin, and she called the woman 'mommy' and the woman called the man her husband. She also called Chuck and Catlin her son and daughter...." I explained to them, finishing with a sigh of relief to finally tell them.

"Y-You're- I'm- Your my....?" Chuck stuttered over his words, I didn't really, want to finish his sentence, so I was more than grateful when Newt did.

"You're Chuck's sister?"

"Yes, it seems so." I looked at them, Chuck looked like he was about to cry, and Newt looked, so confused and shocked. I stood up, brushing the dirt off my pants. "So, should we tell-" I was cut off by a pair of arms hugging me tightly. I was taken aback for a second, until I saw Chuck crying his eyes out, that's when I hugged back, tightly too.

"I found my big sister." He muttered.

"And I found my little brother, who I'll never loose again." I whispered to him, we parted, looking at each other and smiling.

"C'mon, let's get back." Chuck nodded as we started walking back, Newt walked next to me, I occasionally looked at him, and in the corner of my eye I saw him sneaking looks at me, too. Why am I looking at him? He's..... handsome, that's why. WAIT, WHAT?! No, no, no, no! I've known him for, like, thirty minutes! I can't be thinking like this!

"Should we tell Alby about this?" I asked, trying to distract myself from my thoughts.

"Yeah, we should. I'll also talk to him about your job tomorrow."

"Okay."

~The Next Day~

My eyes flutter open, Alby got me a place to sleep separated from the rest of the boys, me being the only girl in a place full of boys is kind of scary, but I'll get used to it. I got up from the bed, got dressed into a grey tank top, blue skinny jeans, a black belt, and put on my new grey sneakers. I walked outside while putting my hair in a loose ponytail, once outside, I took a deep breath of air and started walking towards the place Newt said where all the Gladers ate. I stood outside, debating on wheather or not to go in, after two minutes of arguing with myself I finally went in. I opened the door to see a whole bunch of boys all sitting at tables, eating, talking, and messing around, I scanned the room to see Newt at a table with Chuck, the boy from the Box, and a asian-looking guy, so I walked towards them.

  "Here goes nothing."
