Broken Heart

how did we all get here?

i never thought that one day the place i called home would also be the place that i was terrified to return to.
i never thought that the loving family i used to have would make me yearn it.
to the point where it paralyses you.
prevents you from sleeping.
the kind of anxiety you only hear people having
except now you experience it.
the kind of emotions i felt
would make me think: how did we all get here?
the late nights i'd stay up and hear screaming
we're the night i dreaded most
the sounds
shattered
everything
the love
the family
the decor
the house
the place i'm supposed to call home.
yet, i still wonder
how did we all get here?
