The Voidlynns - Captain Rose

I ran to the rubble panicked moving it out of the way looking for my crew and Abby. I looked trough every pile of rubble. Abby crawled out from under some planks.

"Abby! Are you okay?!"

"My leg it got fucked up in the crash."

"Okay well at least it's nothing to serious. Let me take a look."

I move the planks of wood to see her leg it wasn't pretty. She needed healing which we might not have due to the crash. I helped her up and helped her over to a tree to lean on. At least I think it was a tree. I started shouting hoping the crew could hear me.

"Roses! Is everyone alright?!"

I heard voices most had scratches and bumps but nothing a little sleep wouldn't fix. I found a rock to stand on in front of the crew.

"Everyone! Start setting up a camp we don't know how long we will be here. Gwen you take 3-4 people to look for firewood and food. Marry you and the rest of the roses make a suitable base camp. I'm going to go scout look for a village or a town to help our injured Any questions?"

"No Captain!"

"Good means I was clear. Get to it Roses we got jobs to do!"

I picked up Abigail in my arms and told Bella to follow me with her broken arm. I started walking this place was nothing like what I knew. The trees were a strange blue colour the grass was a dry yellow. The strangest parts was the islands were floating in the distance I could bearly believe my own eyes. But that wasn't what was important right now.

I could see light off in the distance. I hoped it was people with something to help Abby and Bella. I walked towards it over a hill I was greeted with a small village. I started jogging towards it with Bella at my side and Abby in my arms. As I approached the villagers saw me and pointed spears at me. They spoke some language I couldn't understand.

"Bella get on your knees and raise your hands."

"Captain I don't think-"

"Bella trust me."

We got on our knees i gently set Abby down in front of me. I raised my hands as a older fellow walked past the men with spears.

"Do you speak English outsiders?"

"Yes we need aid a few of my people were injured in a crash."

"How do we know you aren't a threat?"

"Im on my knees with my lover in front of you. A little girl with a broken arm at my side. Do you really think I'm a threat right now?"

"I'll get help for your people but you must tell me exactly how you got here."

"Deal just please."

"You two get those two to the healer. Bring him to my house."

"Yes Chief."

They took the two girls into a house nearby. Another spearmen and the older fella walked me trough the village I saw in the distance a boat that was sailing on the void. I couldn't believe my own eyes. Then they took me into the biggest house in the village. He walked trough the door then sat at a table.

"Take a seat."

I slowly sat down one hand on my sword. not taking my eyes off him for even a second.

"So tell me how you got here."

"Well tell me where the hell I am first."

"Fine welcome to the Voidlynns."

"The Voidlands?"

"No Voidlynns Lynn not land."

"The Voidlynns?"

"Yes now tell me how you got here."

"We had just got out of a storm it was sunset and the star crystal. The one on my neck started glowing. Then the ocean opened a hole so big i couldn't turn my ship in time. It fell in and I held on with Abby. Next thing I knew we crashed here."

"My my you have a star crystal such power."

"Huh?"

"The star crystal it holds a giant amount of power. I once saw a lady come by a real nut job. She took half our food she had two of those star crystals on her neck. None of my men could even get near her or her crew. I fear the day when she finds all of those star crystals."

"How many are there?"

"There's rumours of 6 in the Voidlynns. But you came from somewhere else so I'm assuming there's 7."

"I have a offer. I'll take care of this thief in exchange you give my crew some seeds. To start helping themselves. Since we don't know how long we will be here. And teach us how to sail the void."

"You want to sail the void? And some seeds?"

"And your help to repair my ship and make it able to sail the void."

"All this in exchange for you killing someone. I'll need more then that to do all this for you."

"Money I'll give you half our treasure and kill the thief."

"Hmm fine but I'm coming with you to your ship to meet your crew. With two of my best soldiers just in case."

"Alright I understand. So we have a deal?"

"Yes I think we do."

We shook hands and I held the door open for the man. He exited then waved over two soldiers one with a big hammer the other with a big axe. They walked over and followed us.

"I'm not leaving till I see my friends."

"Of course that house right there."

I looked over and ran towards the house and open the door. I saw Abby on the bed and Bella in the chair next to her. The healer stopped me from going any closer.

"Your girlfriend is not awake I'll let you know the moment she wakes up."

"Fine. Not a moment later."

I walked back to the man and told him to follow. We started walking towards the crash site. We stood on the hill and I pointed to my crashed ship and the rest of the crew.

"Worse then I thought"

"That's my crew."
