He turned around an I was no where in sight. Then he noticed a little bit of his shirt by the wall. He grabbed it and knew it was me.
We went back to Denver a couple of hours later. On the drive, when we were in Grand Junction he had to wear a disguise. He looked ridiculous. He wore a wig that people would know was fake. And he wore weird clothes. I held his hand anyways when we went through the mall.
As soon as we were in, people were looking at us all weird, especially me. But I don't let it get to me. We walked into journeys, I was looking at some high tops but I wasn't able to afford it.
Matt was talking in a deep voice whenever people tried talking to him. I was wearing white vans with long black socks, and one of Matt's t-shirts I stole from his suitcase a while ago, and my hair was curled, and also I wore Matt's beanie.
I really wanted to kiss Matt but his beard was really itchy! So I just didn't, Matt gave me a piggy-back ride though. We went to the food-court, he got us some Chinese food. Man it was delicious!
We went back to the car and he finally took off his silly disguise, then I kissed him. Apparently a little girl was watching us and I was feeling a little embarrassed. We got out of the parking lot and got some Starbucks. I got a french vanilla frappicono. Uggh man Matt kept taking a sip of it and pretending he was getting mixed up. He had Rasberry tea, I took sips of it too.
About when we got to vail, it was 1:00 am in the morning. I was asleep in the car, Matt carried me up to Keah's apartment. It was locked and I had a key in my pocket. He couldn't get out of my pocket when carrying me bridal style. So he walked all the way down the stairs back to the car and layed me down in the back seat, he was trying to find the keys in my pocket but then he noticed it was in my purse. He felt so stupid and smiled. Then he ran back up to the apartment real quick, unlocked the door, then ran back downstairs and carried me again bridal style up the stairs.
I was awake the whole time he was doing all these things, but he never noticed.
*In the Morning*
I woke up looked at my phone, nothing was there except my lock screen of me and Matt kissing and holding hands. He had the exact same lock screen on his phone. I had my hands behind my back but was sitting up, I rubbed my eyes. I was wearing just Matt's t-shirt and walked to my mirror.
I looked like shit, I went to take a shower. I put on some music and took a shower. I was singing and I guess Matt heard me and walked into the bathroom. I heard the door close and said "Who's in here?!?" No one replied, I turned off the water grabbed my towel and wrapped it around my body. I opened the curtain and Matt scared me half to death and I tripped and he caught and dipped me. Then picked me up bridal style and got me out of the shower. He then lowered me and gently dropped me on the ground. I said "Matt? I'm still in my towel and I need to get dressed?" He looked down and just realized it, he gave me a quick kiss and left the bathroom. I put my hair into a bun and started to get dressed.
I wore black waist high shorts, with a gray crop top, my white vans and a small cartigan. I let my hair air dry and brushed it when it was dry.
Matt walked out wearing a colorful tank top, shorts, and his white vans. I was a little sad though, he had to go back for Magcon. Which really sucked! I wasn't gonna see him for at least 3 months. But this was the day we got to spend with each other before he left tomorrow.
He took me to a go-cart track. It seemed really sporty but he knows that I love playing football too. When we walked in, I went by the display case filled with helmets. Matt went and payed for us to drive a few laps. I was in a blue kart and Matt was in green. We had little microphones in our helmets so we could talk to each other while we raced, since the karts were really loud. So as we started, I was falling behind till Matt hit the wall. I was then about 7 feet in front of him. He looked so mad when he saw I was winning. But it was adorable.
After the go-kart track, we went and got some dinner. He wanted us to get all dressed up. So we went back to the house and I got all fancied up.
I wore a pale pink dress, with tan pumps, my hair was curled. And the tips of my dress it was a rose pink. When I walked out, Matt was on his phone in a tuxedo. When he looked up I was looking at the ground, he said to me "Wow, Lexi you look amazing!" I looked back at him and said "You don't look to bad yourself hot stuff!"
We walked down to the car. He had gotten a new vehicle instead of a mustang convertible, it was a Range Rover. I don't know how but those things look attractive with guys. He opened the door for me, and after I sat down, he ran to the other side and pulled himself in. He held my hand as he drove, I swear I could feel my cheeks get really red.
We got to the restaurant and it wasn't your normal fancy smanshy dates, it was on top of one of the highest building in downtown Denver. I looked down to see all the cars passing down with traffic. We were barely able to hear them, which I was glad. There were candles on the table with rose pedals all over the place. When we sat down, we ordered food and looked out over the city. It was so beautiful at night with all the lights. Man I really wish Zaykeah was with us. But that would be awkward on a date.
After we ate, it was getting a little chilly, Matt got us a blankets and we snuggled together on the top of the buildings roof. Matt's flight was 6 in the morning.
After dinner, we went back home and fell asleep in the hall. We just grabbed pillows and blankets from the couch and my room and made a bed in the hall.
*Morning*
I looked at my phone it was 4 in the morning! We got back 6 hours ago. I told Matt to get ready for the day. He wouldn't wake up, so I just kissed him. As soon as I was done he was finally awake. As he got ready I put the blankets and pillow on the couch and just watched Netflix. When Matt was ready, he got all his stuff and I drove him to the airport. We were by that far, it was 5, he had an hour before he left. When we were waiting in the airport, I put my head on his shoulder and started to cry. He looked at me and said "Lexi, don't cry I'll see you again." I couldn't stop, I was so sad. While he was there rubbing my arm, I was laying on his lap and fell asleep. When his plane was boarding he woke me up. I got up wiped my tears away and hugged Matt really tight.
He looked down at me and kissed me. After a few seconds of kissing he had to go. He was walking away, I looked down at the ground and started to cry again. Matt ran back to me and kissed me like never before, he lift me up and kissed me. Then he let me down and walked away. As I was holding his hand, he let each part of it go slowly. As I watched him board his plane, I grabbed my keys and walked out the door.
