I yelled "Justice!" She said "Hey!" I ran up to her and gave her a big hug. I said "What are you doing here?" She said "I heard you got into a little trouble with your boyfriend. So I came to help!" I asked "How long are you here?" She said "Umm about a week. I'm staying here in the apartment!" I asked "In the extra room?" She said "Yup!"
I was so happy! She was the second most helpful person in the world! Her husband wasn't with her because he traveled for business. When Matt knocked on my door, I yelled "Who is it?!?" He said "Matt!" I sat on the other side of my bed.
Justice got up and opened the door, with a disgusted face, and said "What?!?" He said "My hats still in there and I need it back!" I looked over at his hat, I was able to hear them. I threw his hat out the door. He came into the hall and picked it up. Carter came into my room and gave me hug.
He said "Good Night, Lexi" he kissed me on the forehead. I said "Good Night, Carter" he walked out my room. Justice was already asleep in her room. I stayed up a few hours and watched tv. Hayes was sleeping over too. He went in my room. He asked "Want any company?" I said "Sure" he came over and sat on my bed. He said "I'm sorry about you and Ma-" I cut him off "I don't wanna talk about it!" He said "Sorry, I won't bring it up." He layed next to me. He put his arm over my shoulder. I started to remember all the memories me and Matt had. I started to cry.
Hayes wiped my tears away. He looked into my eyes. And I couldn't believe it, he kissed me. I could feel his hand go on my waist. I pushed away, "Hayes, I'm sorry I can't do this." He said "I understand." He walked out my room. I turned off my tv and went to bed.
*Next Day*
I woke up, I looked at my phone. I saw a text message from a blocked number. I decided to look at it. It was Matt. He sent a picture of him and the girls I saw him with. He said "They were asking for autographs! I wasn't flirting with them! Please forgive me Lexi! I love you!" I ignored the text. I put the covers over my head and then I got up. I noticed I need to clean my room. So I plugged my phone into the stereo. I turned it up the music to 12.
Carter knocked on my door, I couldn't even hear him. He just walked through the door and he saw me dancing to music. He decided to join me. He grabbed my hand and he lifted me up and let me down. I had fun. I was about done with cleaning my room. I turned the music down and said "Morning!" He said "Good morning beautiful!" I said "So... What are we doing today?" As I put my head on his shoulder. I was really hoping I didn't have feelings for him, but as we started to hangout more I started to. It's been about a month since the incident with me and Matt happened. I told him I need to get ready for the day. So I chased him out of my room with a smile.
I went through my drawers looking for something to wear. I ran to my closet and looked. I decided to wear to wear some shorts, with a UK tank, and then my Adidas high tops. I curled my hair and put on a gray beanie. Then I walked out my room. Carter was still getting ready. So was everyone else. I went to talk to Zaykeah and she was sleeping on Cameron. So I just decided to make cinnamon rolls for everyone. When they were done everyone came out of their rooms. The cinnamon smell was all over the house.
*Later that day*
I went out for Starbucks by myself. Matt walked up behind me. I knew it was him. I grabbed my drink and sat at a table. Matt sat across from me at the same table. I didn't bother to look up from my phone. He said "Lexi?" I said "What?" He said "Can you at least look up from your phone?" I looked up from my phone and did a fake smile. He said "I'm sorry, please forgive me." I said "Ok I forgive you." He smiled and hugged me. I said "But we can't be together" as I pushed away. He frowned and said "Why? I love you Lexi!" I said "I have feelings for someone else." He said "Who?" He looked concerned.
I said ".....Carter......" He said "But... Lexi?" I said "I'm sorry... I got to go!" I grabbed my phone and coffee and speed-walked away.
I started to cry, I don't know why. I ran back home. I ran into Hayes, he said "What's wrong?" I just ran past him and pretended I didn't hear him. I fell onto my bed and didn't answer any of Matt's calls. Then he called me the 20th time and I answered. I said "Yes?" Pretending to be preppy. He said "I wanna be with you." I said "Meet me at the mall." I told everyone in the house about it. Carter didn't think it was a good idea, Hayes thought I hated Matt. Zaykeah thought I should go for it, Cameron thought he will kick Matt's ass if he breaks my heart again. Justice thought the same as Cameron. That night, Carter came into my room and told me he liked me. I kissed him, I could feel, I was still connected to him. He seemed like the perfect match. But I didn't stop that from me talking to Matt.
